  1. Okay, so today I went abit mad with photos. Here are the 20 best :hmm: So when I said I was doing to detail the car, I wasn't lying. Here is the steering wheel. Now the bottom right I have cleaned all the goo off and armor alled it. Here is the steering wheel after. Here is a shot of the whole dash. My seats after the scrubdown. They have the Corolla Emblem embedded on the head rest. :hmm: Another shot of the dash/seats. The rear seats. The back of the front seats and look, an ash tray behind the drivers seat. How cool. :D Looking through the "Clean" glass. A shot of the front, and yes, that's the only part we didn't clean. :P Cobwebs I stopped by the wreckers beforehand and picked up some parts off the other KE25 that was there. Can anyone tell me if the mirror I have on my 25 is original or if this one that I pulled off today is original?? Or could it be that they changed mirrors models or one of the cars has had a mirror change in the past 30+ years. Note** The pic that shows the other mirror is in the first post of this thread. Lastly, I grabbed this as mine is missing the little switch. I have the clear cover, but no switch.
  2. If you still have that car I know someone interested in the rear bar is its good.

    I'm New

Hello, welcome. Nice car. Is that a photo shopped pic?? the one with the weird headlights??
  4. Got any pics??
  5. lOl. I like, I like!!
  6. I found a rusted double sided screw driver in the boot too. Its now in that tool kit. Most of the tools are rusty. I assume the boot leaks, or it might be that the rubbers have perished like the window and door rubbers.
  7. ARRH great, they stole my kidney.
  8. I should be shocked but i'm not. Cameron stole parts off her too.
  9. Yes I would. PM sending ...
  10. Done man :D
  11. thanks guys. Um... future plans... :D I'm going to start with simple things. Like rego and having rust cut out of the front quarters. Carpet and dash restored. White Venetian Blinds and whitewalls with hubcaps. Might even try redwalls. I'm also thinking of an upgrade to a 5K the the current engine isn't bad. Now I haven't mentioned the engine that it currently houses. It has a 4K which I might keep for a while. As for the paint... I'm leaning towards white with Pearl. Any more thoughts?? Hopefully Friday i'll have more pics posted of the car cleaned up. **EDIT** Also, does anyone have a pic of what KE25 hubbies look like??
  12. Not bad :lolcry: What brand and where from?? Ebay?
  13. Yeah, the guards in question had no indicator holes. So I'm assuming that they were early ones if not for both and you'd have to make a hole for the indicator.
  14. You only want her cause she has no teeth!!
  15. Yeah, onto 6 cars now at 3 locations. :lolcry:
  16. I thought so
  17. Abit more randomness... I WANNA GO TO
  18. Am I reading this correctly??
  19. Hey guys, I'm just wanting to know if the guards are the same between KE20's and KE25's?? The reason I ask is that I figured that they would be just like with the KE30's and was going to buy a "KE20" reproduction guard for my KE25, but they guy selling the guard has informed me that its only for KE20's. I just want to know if he's wrong. thanks in advance... J.
  20. Here we go again. I've bought another car. :lolcry: I really don't know where to stop do I. I know a lot of you have been wondering who bought that KE25 that was at the Ipswich wreckers up here in Queensland. Well I'm happy to say it was me and I'm making it official. I kinda don't know what I'm doing venturing into uncharted territory as I'm use to dealing with the KE3X/5X's. Thankfully she is pretty much complete other than a couple of bad spots. So... I've taken a few brief shots of the car showing what she looks like in her present state. I'll take more on Friday after I have her cleaned up and polished like I have done with all my cars. Tho dusty, the body looks great!! A shot of the dash. Tho cracked I will get it repaired where I had my 30's one done. Still trying to decide where the stereo will go?? Toyoglide!! and maybe a spot for a tacho?? If not I might try to track down a stock tacho dash, but doubt I'll find one. overrated seats!! Door cars too. I love the steering wheel tho the photo doesn't do it justice. Toyoglide Original toolkit Not use to dealing with cars this old. I was like, where's the brake booster. I found it funny seeing the water bottle hanging off the battery
  21. Nice. looking good. I can't get over the fact that you don't have a cig lighter. I've seen a wagon before with a cover over where the radio sits. I don't think that is a wagon thing to have the jack infront of the drivers seat. I'm pretty sure its ment to go in the hatch located in the rear passenger quarter. So what tune is the horn going to play?? Please tell me its not going to play La Cucaracha!?!? I think the AROOGA type would be cool.
  22. Nice stereo. What'd that set you back??
  23. Or a rope ladder
  24. Sorry about the delay guys. Cars added. I also added. Dorris Skanky-Loue 3 (SL3) And Tabitha
  25. Hard not to notice a bright yellow car. ... and mustard ... and grey ... and white ... and gold.
