WGMG - Being scammed!! I just dropped the price on one of my cars today and I got an email reply from someone wanting to pay asking price. They were paying me through paypal and even sent me fake paypal emails. The emails looked real apart from the same grammar errors that the buyer had in their emails. Then there was the fact that the email account they used for paypal was set us as its name being [email protected] while their email was something way off. I ended up calling paypal as the emails looked off and they wanted be to sent $950 through Western Union for delivery charges before I got any of the $3550. Another thing that grinds my gears is that I sold an engine and gearbox to a member on here. He stood me up on the day the engine and box was to be removed from the car, so I got a mate to help me. Before I pulled it out I filmed the engine running to prove it worked. He came a couple weeks later and picked it up. Now he claims that he had his mechanic look at it, and his mechanic thinks the engine hasn't run in over 4 years. That and the gear box is stuffed and wouldn't work. I assured him that I drove it home when I bought it and had no issues. He then continued to reply and call me names and demand his money back! He claims he'll bad mouth me now for I have done him wrong apparently. I am no mechanic, but from my point of view the car ran and drove fine. If he turned when he was meant to he would have seen that.

No need. I have no want to see you or meet you. You can keep telling yourself it was made in 1979. The fact that its a KE35 says it wasn't. Then there is the fact it has an early dash and a factory early KE35 grille. Both items that weren't available on the international KE35 in 1979 (If there is a rare chance this may be an import). They would have had the later grille and the later dash. The bonnet it came with also says it early. But still, you insist... 1979. I was only asking for the vin number so you could compare it to the datebase in the automotive section to give you a rough idea of when it would have been built. No need to reply. My replies stop here.

Well that would be wrong. The grille is factory and it came out in the early KE35's.(1975-1977) There were NO KE35's in 1979 in Australia. And if there were they would have had a late KE3x grille. In late 1978 the KE35 was replaced with the KE55s. Stay tuned next week for another history lesson children.

WGMG - Went for a job interview. I aced it. Went for the medical today and had to lie my ass off time after time about my heart :S How am I meant to go on. The doc doesn't want me to go on sickness welfare and wants me to return to work while the new job wants me to be healthy. Plus I haven't worked in 3 months and have begun to run out of things to sell. My mate has my spare twin SU's and now isn't answering my calls. I told him I need to sell them so I can make my next car payment. Then Telstra today @#$%^!!!! USELESS They rang wanting us to upgrade our internet. We did but before we did we made sure we couldnt be charged for breaking the current contract. Well guess what. Today we got a $200 fee for breaking the contract. I rang them and they said they can't do anything. We have to write in and appeal it. They did the same with my new mobile. They want you to upgrade early then hit you with cancellation fees!!

I have a september 1980 Hardtop with round headlights. It doesn't. But the new models usually started in October. One of my sedans was 1980 too but it had squares. It had it.

From late 1980 till 1981 all KE55's came with swaybars after their front ends were updated.

Just don't eat curry beforehand :S
