I'm not seeing a reason for this thread. Seems to be really off topic if it even has one.
We now all know Ella (Kent). Add him to your msn as he has requested and comment on his car in his rides thread.
Until then...
:)
Just a couple questions regarding my belts in my car.
Just keen to know if anyone else has this issue.
When it rains my driver side belt becomes somewhat thicker and hard to retract. Anyone else have this problem?
Also is it possible to have the belts re spooled using the old latch?
On the subject on the emergency number, that reminds me of a manager I worked for in my younger days at maccas. She was robbed at gun point and locked in the cool room. When she got out she rang 911.
Is there anyone here that actually thinks that our emergency number is 911??
OMG I think I have finally plugged my heater leak. :)
Last night my sister commented how she wanted out of the business partnership with my boss and wanted me to become his new partner :( I wont push it tho.
Oh and a work mate has offered to rebuild my twin SU's for me :(
I'm not liking where this is heading. Its turning into Qld vs. S.A.
We don't have many cruises up here and we don't all live close to each other. As Trev said i see him every couple of weeks only cause i make the effort to drive the 30 or so k's to his place.
Personally i haven't organised any cruises since November as i've been busy.
I agree the forum is off topic but there should be some boundaries. Yes continue the topic if it is related to the omg. No if its general talk that could be said over msn, a pm or a text message that no one wants to read about.
The real issue is that the mods don't want to sit here and read 3 pages of todays ramblings. They're not getting paid for it and aren't interested in most of it.
Tho i have known for months the carbie is on its way out. I'm sending the twin SU 's away tomorrow to be rebuilt. Once thats all done then i can focus on rust and water leaks.
So this afternoon after work, before i left the site, i checked my rad and it was empty along with the bottle. Its still leaking from the firewall and i can't fix it till tomorrow as i'm nowhere near home. :D I also had to tighten a clamp on the heater as it was leaking on the inside.
So i hope i can fix it tomorrow.
I don't like the idea of a chat thread. To me that thread wouldn't have a meaning and would fill up several pages of convos in a day compared to the omg thread where the topic was what happened in your day.
If you go in the rides and projects forum and look up any S.A. member thread, you'll notice its treated like msn and most of the time isn't related to that car.
Again, not just you, all the younger S.A. members.
Well if your talking about sikaflex, i too have been told that you shouldn't use silicone when fitting windscreens. Something about its the reason that some cars rust under/below the windscreen. Apparently it traps water at the bottom and doesn't let it drain.
