jamie: then wait till mine is on the road!!! my 22re will be a f%^ckin killer. i found a heap of info about them in the states and i got recipes for awesome power outputs with them! :)
  4. i think they only had a 3.89 ratio with the 4a engine. as this would be to high for a 4k. 4.1:1 is good for your car
  5. yes i know rollie too! i was gunna get the full bodykit copied of it when he first made it for my ke55 but i sold the car! maybe i'll get something done for my rona's :)
  6. on the back of the diff there is a tag that has the ratio stamped in it

my rona has the 2.4 in it. they are the 22re
  9. now who's a comedian??? :)
  10. you know ken streeter??
  11. bahahahahahahahaha!
  12. i just sold a set of those!
  13. yup. she'd have a little more than 0 rwhp
  14. hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
  15. agreed. id first do the suspenson mods. handling is very important
  16. you just have to get a 4ke injection sys from a jap wrecker. but i don't know the cost. you will have to ring around for availability and costs.
  17. ha ha so true!
  18. remember i have my front sports struts i don't need!!!!!
  19. thats the way teddy. and like you said it would be a good idea to get another motor and build it over time while you can get some good experince in the stocker. as building a hot motor for the first time is a great way to learn about engines and exactly how they work. i did my first build at 15-16 years old!
  20. so the factory turbo ones flow more than the factory na ones but new ones are the same???
  21. that is a good point. you don't want to go putting that kind of money into a car and then killing yourself in it. i have known people who have done that.
  22. its all good. i took the 22re and gze injectors to a injector shop in my suburb and they said they will go with my ecu (as i will keep the stocker until i can afford an aftermarket ecu) and he's flow testing them and cleaning them for f@$k all. sweeeet! :)
  23. go the gze. they have potloads of torque in standard form and with an ae71 cross member they are easy to fit yourself and provided you or mates do lots of the work yourself $3000 will be just enough for a safe and powerful install.
  24. i was going to go aswell but i didnt have a gold coin for the f@$king donation!
  25. so i just put the earth side of the multimeter on one plug and the positve on the other? does it matter what polarity to test this??? if not, sweet. i have a multimeter
