  1. really? you want a cruise you organise it. as far as i can see its a bunch of younger members that are complaining bout nothing happening here in south australia. i for one have work commitments and family commitments on most weekends, plus outside of the car clubs event that i can get time off to be involved in, which makes organising events quite hard, especially considering i work night/afternoons atm. I'm pretty sure its the same for quite a few of the other members here. as for myles, he was trying i'll give him credit for it. but the excuses for the cruise were hes on his L plates. so what why not wait until he has his P plate then organise the cruise that way there is more a of chance that these things can be pulled off and have a great day. so my opinion is grow up and quit whining and do something about it.

its seems that there is an abundance of old school rollas hitting our road these past few months, its nice to know that they are still out there and that they all havent been sent to their death at the wreckers
  3. hmmm well since almost been 10 months since i updated this thread :) anyways since then, i found a nice set of power mirrors from a series 1 sx and fitted them, and bonus was that all i had to was hook it up to the original wiring in the car (owners before must have busted the original power mirrors). i've also added a 2inch exhaust from the cat, to the cannon off of my hatch, its a little bit droney but i don't mind it, and a k&n panel filter to the standard airbox. plus i found myself a nice sprinter grill on ebay  before after upclose now here comes the good bit i went looking for a ae9x sprinter front bar but couldnt find one so i settled on a FXGT front bar(it needs a little work) even though it has been stated on twincam that it will and it wont fit and i can 100% confirm that it does fit and suits the seca nose quite nicely. my bar sits slightly to the passenger side by a fraction due to my seca have a whack on the drivers side at some time in its life(hence the mix and match of s1 and s2 parts :D) with the FXGT front bar
  4. might be best to buy a repair manual if you want to find out the torque settings etc etc. I'm pretty sure if you go into anyone of the many spare parts places like super cheap, repco, sprints, or the like, I'm fairly sure you will be able to either buy one or order one. if that fails you can always try you local library and do a shite load of photocopying.
  5. good to hear i will be a deffinite there, but I'm unsure about if i will have my "hektic JDM YO!" front bar on or not
  6. SCS 08 this coming sunday peoples, yes its the same day as a couple of other things which include a hillclimb event @ collinsgrove and gazzanats @ AIR.
  7. http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/ have a look at that site there, its the online version of the toyota parts database :P sadly it doesnt list the sportivo turbo, but its does list almost everything else though :P
  8. myles you need actually put this up on these all of these sites instead of listing them here and hoping cause i can assure you that it hasnt been posted on either twincam or hard tuned yet
  9. Heres food for thought since you are organising the cruise. why don't you lead it? if you going to use the excuse of not knowing the roads, heres a little tip for you why not wait until you have your P plates then drive the cruise route you have planned, that way you will have a better idea of where to go and be aware of any problems along the why ie. road works etc etc
  10. sounds like toyota all over :P all smallports from 89 onwards have the oil squirters http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4AGE#4A-G_.2816-valve.29 << if you have time have of a read
  11. not always true  you obviously have never watched the fuel gauge in a 4age during a "spirited" run. plus myles a word of advice with your spelling mate, do a quick reread before posting or use firefox which has a built in spell checker. :y:
  12. noice :) 8/ sounds like its gonna be a weapon, just don't do the HG when its finished :)
  13. :) hey rolla_kid pm me if you still looking for an fx gt front bar i know where theres a couple here in adelaide anyways sounds like it was a good night pitty i couldnt get out of work :)
  14. spam bot :hmm:
  15. most places when you ring them and they don't have a parts your after they will tell you who else may have them. there is no real best and cheapest, but sometimes you do find the odd bargin.
  16. try www.yellowpages.com.au and search "Auto Parts Recyclers Toyota" :y: sounds like a bargin raven but then again it depends on the condition :hmm:
  17. i do believe this person is actually from the states considering he has made reference to acura in another thread and to which was never released here in Oz.
  18. someone who doesnt have a license, or who doesnt have insurance, or that they didnt notice(hard to believe i know, but remember this is adelaide)
  19. thread cleaned, come on guys keep it on track.
  20. if its a twincam model its an intank pump. there is no in line pump
  21. i said it sounded like a K, coa thats is sure one sick sounding A :hmm: but then again any car thats producing blue smoke while cruising @ 80, whether its a K or A motor really needs to be tossed
  22. you obviously didnt see the "original idea" when this was posted, that why the advice to call was given.
  23. you don't have to swap the struts for ae92 struts as the brakes from an ae92 will bolt onto the same mounting spot as the ae82 read here >>>>>Ae82/92 brake upgrades
  24. people here in australia have swapped the single cam wheel for a twincam wheel with out any major problems. my question is why did you get a boss kit for an ae86 rather than one for the ae82?
  25. ok so it may not be a corolla but still its a toyota :y: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lrk6vsb77xk
