  1. sorry i have to pull the pin on me being there, as work has asked me to do a set block of shifts at one health care facility.
  2. when you get a chance post up a thread in the rides and project section, more exposure to your pride and joy :y:
  3. all good douggeh, it happens sometimes mate. :y:
  4. i said this before it doesnt matter how fast or how good looking you car is, it's all bout having fun and getting to know people. Basically aslong as we obey the road rules and don't break the law then we are good. That is my honest opinion here. trust me my car isnt all that good looking up close :y: and ill freely admit it because its a work in progress, actually my car will probably "Mystik McPatchy" soon :o anyways I'm way off topic here ill be up for depending on a date and time.
  5. thank you to all those who attended the meet and cruise it was good the put names to face although i think i have probably forgotten all you names and will remeber you via what car you drive. we had a blast on the way to and from swan reach. plus it was good to have more toyotas there then any other car make :y: T4S cruise pics.
  6. why does everyone say it don't exist on google maps :o , havent you people ever heard of www.whereis.com :y:
  7. i think paid roughly $700 for front & rear calipers, front & rear rotors, rear hubs, all flexible brake hoses, handbrake cables, and rear trailing arms. converting the rear to discs is only really worth it if you are going to, throw a 16v/20v 4age or 4agze into the car. i mean this i only my opinion but then again i went through the hassle of converting my 89 cs hatch in preparation for a 4age conversion that never happened, mainly due to my current Seca coming up at the right time for way less than what it was going to convert my hatch.
  8. heres the entry form for this years event and it looks to be a oneday show and theres looks to be no club displays Small Car Sunday 2008 Entry Form
  9. from my understanding toyota did this rather than play around the rear bias. ie bigger bite surface = better braking, but still use the same brake pad DB1147 :y: yes you can use the AE10x or AE112 calipers or heres something i didnt know the AE95 4wd corolla station wagon with 4 wheel discs scored the same calipers at the front as the GTI/Seca SX
  10. while your at it. you may want to think about grabbing the front calipers and rotors off of a GTI/SX seca built after 6/91 for the larger front brakes as well. this is assuming you what to have the full upgrade. you either going to have 238*18 vented fronts or 243*13.5 solids on the fronts where as the GTI/SX seca built after 6/91 had 258*22 vented fronts :) just some food for thought ;)
  11. if your blocked from making topics its usually due to you not being registered on the forum. so go and register on the forums and do the leg work, or actually ask people if they will volunteer to help, need to use the gray matter in your head, that the Egyptians thought was useless :)
  12. like hiro said it would be one way of knowing you have all the parts.
  13. been there done that, mine was ae92 > ae92, but you can do the ae82 > ae92 without changing the rear trailing arms. this is what i used rear hubs, calipers, brake lines, hand brake cables, the rear most trailing arm (the bushes are different between drum and disc) you can use the drum trailing arms you need to get the bushes made up to fit. so its easier to use the different trailing arms.
  14. nope twincam covers all corolla/toyotas ;)
  15. this sunday so remember kiddies :y:
  16. have either of you approached either munno para shopping center or bunning? or even looked into public liability insurance?
  17. i agree :)
  18. no its not this saturday. theres gokarts on the 3rd of oct in this thread >>> http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=23208 theres a tuned4street cruise on the 21st of this month in this thread >>> http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=23115 meh as for cd player/radio i havent had a working one since october last year  but I'm happy listening to my 4age being abused :y:
  19. ah nice clean slate to begin with
  20. no need to gut the stock airbox, you can use a k&n panel filter, what engine is it? 4afe? 4age? 7afe? quite a few of the australian owners(including myself) have gone gone for the combo of KYB shocks and Kings springs being that your in the US you have your choice of intrax, eibach, just to name a few for springs as for shocks in the US I'm unsure what there is available besides KYB, but if you have a search around and see what is out there. heres a rough idea your stance may look like, this my seca as it currently sits
  21. you need to a little bit of chopping and changing to use the SX/GTI clusters plus you need the oil pressure sender off of a 4age so the oil gauge works properly. or you get a lower spec CSI or CSI limited cluster with a tacho that is plug and play.
  22. ae9X hatches had both carby and fuel injection, just depends on the spec of the model as they range from SE right up to SX/GTI same goes for the tahco. to a degree its plug and play but it also depends on the cluster that he wants. this is the main reason i asked for picture as from the vague description it sounds like a couple of models from the range :D
  23. MYSTIK

    Spotted

which is the least spotted colour in the world :D the eyes see a brown car, the mind the interprets this as brown car = shite car and then we forget we saw a brown car
  24. post the link to the ad. or when you get the car post up a few pictures of the engine etc.
  25. nah its all good, i was thinking back to Small car sunday and the only "exciting" events were an accident during the cruise friday night and on the sunday, one of those said cars in the accident broke a CV going to the show, and a wheel fell off of another car  friday night acco = n14 pulsar rear ended by an exa sunday = same n14 broke a CV, and another n14 lost a wheel enroute to the show  anyways way OT mmmmmmmm 26B :)
