  1. 99% of the cruise's, i've been to that have been organised by a forum/group havent had any problems with police at all, mainly due to it being at most 15 cars, the only cruise i have been on that had a police presence was SCS last year, but that was because the organisers informed the police due to the large amount of cars that were attending the cruise.
  2. my opinion here is "that if your can't afford to run, fix, or pay insurance for your car, then you shouldn't own one" but one other thing is i went through something similar when i had my dunnydore. But my only difference was that if my car wasnt running, no fuel or no rego i walked until i could afford to pay, its just a little common sense needs to be used. But then i also had the option of borrowing my parents car if i was really really in desperate need of a car or they would drop me off and pick me up. :lolcry:
  3. all i know is that my CS is an early 89, so one can only assume the brake master shat itself, and was replaced sometime before i bought it back in 2002.
  4. nope sorry mate, even though work canceled, i have made other plans already :hmm:, so its looks like you a lonely seca :lolcry: that and I'm sick on the constant whining, its really like nails on a chalkboard.
  5. there are other things that come up, plus not everyone is a 16 yo snotnosed, wet behind the ears kid like you, in other words people do have other commitments so learn to live with it.
  6. that wreckers called "active motor wreckers" use to use them alot for holden parts when i used to work on bedford vans :lolcry:
  7. this guy just slapped the 4a head on to the 7a block, without changing anything else really, plus like i said it was a "rough guide".
  8. ok this is a reminder for everyone that is thinking about attending or those who are attending this event, that it is tomorrow evening @ 5:30pm
  9. this link should give you a rough idea on how to build a 7age >>>4age to 7age conversion

  14. myles quit spamming up the threads, plus you need to learn to read as its already been stated that it is undecided on the rollaclub display. and for you to see the pdf file why don't you download a program like abode reader etc etc, or why not even pick up the phone and give the organisers a ring and see if they can send you an entry form.

    Spotted

just spotted a ke30/55 getting sideways on purpose in the wet, on the roundabout at the end of bagsters rd and commercial rd. if its anybody from here i suggest you take it out to malala :( and stop be such a knob in the wet, especially around traffic |blink|
  24. i've driven my CS, disc/drum now with S2 brake setup, and my S2 seca, and they are very similar in braking power, the only diff between both disc setups is the slotted rotors on my seca and the original master cylinder on the cs hatch. and for verification from pbr website
  25. yes i did the full convert, hence i know its not really worth the effort unless you are planning on doing an engine conversion as well. My CS hatch is using the full series@ to brake setup, Front: 258mm rotors and calipers, Rear: 242mm rotors and calipers. and yes i do agree the they corollas even the SX suffers from slightly to much front bias, and the way toyota fixed it was with the lager rear discs on the ae101 upwards. if you look up the brake master cyclinders on PBR they all have the same part number |blink| i've only ever locked up the brakes once on the CS after i did the brakes and that was on a damp road just before i got my SX last year.
