so you just bought a SX front bar with the lip attached? but no mounting brakets? if so then, this means you need the brackets off of a ae92 corolla built between 6/89 and 6/91, the brackets I'm mentioning are the ones that slot into the chassis rails.

best option is to sell your current car and buy one thats already been converted, it works out a hell of alot cheaper in the long run. plus a stardard 4agze wont net you 150kw at the wheels :y:.

and weaker rods, i know of a couple that have tossed a rod out the side of the block, you could also try Z imports or Adelaide Jap

it "should" be a direct plug 'n' play deal, if not you may only have to re-pin a couple of wires

exactly right, i had a 2 point in my cs hatch and while it helped a little bit, it still had some flex in the strut towers, it wasnt the towers moving horizontally towards one another they were moving vertically up and down. the 3 point brace from the factory is way better than the 2 point aftermarket one. :)

the whiteline strut brace is considered a 2 point, because it goes from strut tower to strut tower. the 3 point goes from strut tower to the firewall to the strust tower. 2 point strut brace 3 point strut brace

wrong, only base models in the ae9X never came with the front swaybar, strut bace <you>will</you> help in the long run as long as its the 3 point factory item from the sx/gti (had a 2 point, the towers still flexed). Oh and the ae82 is a completely different shape and has different mounting points. now there was a kit from whiteline at one stage so you could fit a sway bar to base models, its had a different part number to the one redwarf qouted, it seems that whitle may have stopped producing the kit if you must have a front sway bar you need the following out of an SX/GTI(they have all the mounting bracket etc) lower control arms, brackets, sway bar and links, and i would think about changing the bushes while you at it.
