  3. this was made a week a go, for that particular day :) and there is a rollaclub cruise on sunday the 1st :no2:
  4. i noticed that the date had changed a couple of days ago, it really wasnt a big surprise, considering they are implementing a motorkhana

    Old Oil?

I had this thought after i had completed an oil change on my corolla and the parental mobile today, and i was wondering how other people in SA dipose of said used oil. Now i usually put the oil in an empty oil bottle(s) and dad gets rid of them, that being said i have like 4 or 5 bottles atm, basically I'm after some advice, since my dad being slack(i guess being in his 60's he should be allowed to be) so I'm going throw open the doors to discussion, comments, advice and information etc etc, (and no stupid comments like tip it down the drain either :) )
  6. so in other words march/april :no2: that sucks, i say a rollaclub working bee is needed then :)
  7. depends, 1. condition of the engines 2. over condition of the cars also are the both 20v? reason i ask is due to the fact the the SX should be a 16v
  8. check the link below CHARTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS
  9. yep its not even an ae92 its an ae82 :P this is more like what your car should look like under the bonnet fuel filter is on the firewall, and the oil filter is fairly low on the front of the motor
  10. before this woe is me stuff goes much further, let me just say this it wasnt myles personally, it was his attitude, and the next time he has something to say to like he did last time(myles knows what i mean) i would prefer it to be to my face rather then via msn. now that i have said my final piece on this topic, i would like to see things return to there regular scheduled programing. as for me going on the cruise, if I'm there I'm there, if I'm not I'm not plus I'm not one for cruising the city/glenelg day or night, i been there done that many years ago ;) now I'm off to work to hopefully watch people sleep all night, so i can catch up on a few things that i need to be up to date with :(
  11. as quoted from that thread ;)
  12. not that I'm aware of, but you never know with private hospitals ;)
  13. says the person who went crying to his dad over picture ;) who knows :( but then why would you ask in a legitimate thread about a completely different cruise is even more baffling to me ;)
  14. calvary in north adelaide, or calvary central districts?
  15. +1
  16. that all depends on what hospital hes going into :y:, if its the RAH, watch out quite a few of the night nurses are old battle axes who are ready to retire :loo: the ones on the northern side on of adelaide arent to bad i know a few of them cause i have 1: worked with them or 2: went to school with them :yak:
  17. link as promised 6 speed conversion
  18. if you mean the c160? not harder, just a little bit more work because you have to modify the shifter so you can get 6th and reverse. theres a guide on twincam.org somewhere i'll find it a bit later on when I'm bored and post the link :|
  19. yes, since its still an A-series motor and you can even put the c160 6 speed manual in as well if your lucky enough to find one
  20. i don't recommend using spacers, due to the fact that you will be putting the stress/weight of the car on the wheel studs, plus that 10mm further out means that the rubbing may potentially be on the inside of the guard :| even with coilovers you may not be able to run the size tire you want because most coilovers tend to be slightly larger in diameter, than the standard struts and this due to the threaded section and the spring seat/locking nut so you either go with the 205/40/17 or you can cut and shut the guards/rear doors. i personally would stick with the 205 wide tire
  21. that almost as bad as overrated condition except for this and that, so that means to me that it isnt overrated :jamie: i just pass those ads over and have a good chuckle :|
  22. question is how wide a tire/rim you want to go? i find the 205/45 to be a perfect fit for both my hatch and seca if you go to wide, you will still have the same sort of problems, only that instead of rubbing on the spring seat, it will be rubbing on the threaded section of the coilovers
  23. the cooked 20v would probably taste better than maccas :(
  24. why buy one when you can build you own? http://www.twincam.info/index.php?showtopic=25618
  25. so the truth is revealled  looks like its coming together nicely indeed :(
