  1. to true :fuzz: but i've been there done that on the SCS07 cruise (just to correct a slight mistake: but what could i say it was the first time in the hills with power steering =)) and scared the shit out of a guy driving a lancer that was behind me that or use HJ food trays in the carparks**** **** Neither i nor any other person recommend this as a popular past time, and take no responsibility if you are silly enough to attempt this.
  2. I enjoy both types of cruises :fuzz: and i far from a drift nut. but then again i own a FWD corolla agreed there are those of us that don't drive RWD vehicles to true, and this has even been said by a police officers that i have spoken to off of the record :P
  3. that piece of hose was connected to the stock air cleaner, and yes its to vent the gas build up in the crank case :). my suggestion is to head over to super cheap or the like and buy a oil beather or you could got back to the stock air cleaner setup

this is according to red book All AE93's are the SX/GTI's and SX Secas (series 1 & 2) All AE94's are built after august of 1991, and they look to be CSI's which have the 4afe( the eco efi engine)
  5. according to my manual its 40-47ft-lb or 53-64Nm :)
  6. that was there when i went almost 2 weeks ago, was almost complete then! albeit i didnt look close as it was an ae82 seca.

so your saying she wants an ae93 sx seca. or are you saying that any old ae93 sx/gti will do. If you looking for a Seca ill suggest a series 2, only because they had more power options standard :( *cough* like mine *cough* and raven for got to mention Twincam as another source for the prospective corolla buyer
  9. what is it with you and head gaskets :P
  10. good prices. i had my clutch master rebuilt by power brakes $70 plus it was an overnight turn around

  12. considering the gearbox is the same across the range of the ae112 (note including the sportive) exedy have a couple of clutchs in there sports tuff range. heavy duty kit - part no. TYK-6932 HD heavy duty button kit - part no. TYK-6932 HDB then the also have a racing clutch stage 1 sports ceramic kit - part no. TYK-6932 SC this is all according to there website of course
  13. nah i like the other one better :no2:
  14. both post are stereotyping. i would also like to point out the some people do prefer the city/bay cruises over the hills cruises and vice versa, only mainly due to good/bad experiences on past cruises. so keep it nice peoples or ill :P
  15. its illegal everywhere but it doesnt stop people from using it and the headlights also occasionally turn up on the ebay australia as well
  16. hmmm interesting well it wasnt up to date when i last went to the southern yard for parts for my rolla, the site said they had 5-6 ae9X when i got there there was only half that amount ;) but anyways the site saying the northern yard has 3 AE71's and 1 AE70 :lolcry:
  17. the site is not the most up to date thing that they have ;)
  18. as it has been stated before elsewhere and by a great many people its a cruise NOT a race. that said I'm not organising this event but thats my take on a cruise and always has been
  19. check the reostat just below the steering column. or you can change the globes for L.E.D lights as i have done.
  20. heres a link that might be helpful as well http://www.twincam.info/index.php?showtopi...ster+conversion
  21. its a 275mm from both the ae101 and ae111 superstrut. but you have to machine the rotor down to 260 - 263mm for the caliper to fit. plus i don't really think the original question quite went this far as he was only asking bout slotted rotors. but if he want brake upgrade in here is and excellent link from twincam.org http://www.twincam.info/index.php?showtopic=1063 Edit: missed one piece of info out :lolcry:
  22. towe001 you got series 2 rotors not series 1. theres 2 different sized front rotors on the ae93:- 238mm series 1 8/89 - 6/91 << SX Hatch/Seca (dba part no 704) 258mm series 2 6/91 - 10/94 << GTI Hatch/SX Seca (dba part no 708) http://www.dba.com.au/2006/PDF_CATALOGUE/C...ue_01052008.pdf << look at page 123 yes the front calipers from ae102 fit because it is exactly same caliper that was used on the GTI/Series 2 SX Seca. i'll assume toyota just carried the caliper over and used a slightly smaller rotor (255mm).
  23. what info are you looking for? are asking if anyone has use slotted rotors on an SX and their opinion of them? or are you asking for a part number for the rotors themselves? anyways heres my opinon for you 1. i have DBA slotted rotors front and back on my SX Seca and i highly recommend them. 2.since your SX is series 1, i will assume it has series 1 calipers and rotors. Which means you will have smaller front brakes than the GTI/SX Seca series 2 (GTI is the series 2 version of the sx hatch). anyways in the picture below is the parts numbers for the front and rear rotors. when ordering remember the to ask for slotted otherwise when they order them you might just get regular rotors.
  24. no problem. glad i could help
  25. heres a levin interior  if i remember correctly its the similar if not the same as yours, considering the sportivo used the levin as its base :lmao:
