  1. Yeah, the chrome isnt that common where I live but its common in general. Yeah I might just go with a chin spoiler/lip and just make some shortie bumpers. Time to get the grinder out. Really keen on 86's but there's probably a bit of work involved with them, shorties are easy(er). Shorties would look good keeping with the beige and black theme too.
  2. Lol or you could just do that.
  3. I thought you'd be drifting.
  4. To be honest I'm just a bit over the whole chrome bumper thing. Seen too many of them. I'm just looking for an alternative. I'm thinking 86 bumpers and paint my car black or just redo the beige and make some shortie bumpers.
  5. Possibly. Now I'm curious aswell???
  6. I'm not touching this one with a 50 ft pole.
  7. No one else think the 86 bumpers look good?
  8. Those damned bikers!! Hahaha
  9. Bit negative, I think it looks f@$king awesome.
  10. I'm thread digging here but man that looks f@$king dope. I was reading through driftke70's build and have seen it on speedhunters. Why does no one else do the 86/82 bumper swap? The 86 rear bumpers look clean as on the back of a E7 and the front looks just as good. I'm looking into this further and I'm doing it. I'm f@$king doing it.
  11. Sorry rollme. AJPS make tie rod ends, find a diff at a wrecking yard or in the car parts for sale here on Rollaclub. AE86 struts are an upgrade and depending on what you want to do with your car(I'm guessing drift) XT130 corona lower control arms will work. The struts from XT130's will fit aswell. Just search for your info and maybe parts here on Rollaclub or Google.
  12. If the BC's are cheap then go ahead. They will be better than your standard suspension setup(if it is standard)but will probably be a bit of a bitch on the road. I don't think I'm going to bother with coilovers. I'm thinking 86 struts with a better shock and have some springs made. Still not sure though..
  13. I've always kept Soundgarden and Audioslave close to me. Not my usual but I do listen to fair variety of tunes. Paw and their song 'Jessie' always get get me air drumming haha.
  14. 36panvan, I really dig Sepultura. The Hunt was probably favourite song of theirs. Haven't listened to them in years though. I'm more into the Proggy stuff these days. Check out the bands I mentioned above if you want. Pretty different to Sepultura but a f@$king good listen. :rocknroll:
  15. Lol, smart arse.
  16. I don't know much building your own costs and I've never heard any complaints about BC's but I've heard good things about HSD's. I think they're around $1000 for a pair. I don't have any pros or cons unfortunately.
  17. I don't think you'll be getting much(if any) coin back from it all.
  18. I wish I had somewhere to go nuts in a car. Just a massive, flat, empty paddock would be great. We used to do it out in the hills when I was about 13 but it's a public road so we were stopped very quickly. FWD + dirt/gravel = sketchy
  19. d Dude, I need to try them. I love Dr Pepper.
  20. Maybe i didn't phrase that correctly. I was referring to a bigger diff, from a car that makes more power from factory like Hilux,86,Corona etc. Decent wasn't the right word.
  21. Also, if it's going to be a track car then he might need to replace pads/shoes more often than you would with a road only car.
  22. I was under the impression that most rear ends with a decent diff would come with discs and not drums. If a brake pad is easier to replace than a shoe, why not go ahead with the disc rear end? Do some work to save some work, no?
  23. f@$king priceless! Funniest thing ive seen all day. Do NOT mix up the combination! Hahaha
  24. Wasnt sure if it was the same picture or not.
  25. How much was that SLO?? If you don't mind me asking? Just saw a very similar looking one on Ebay for $140. Same one?
