Yeah man, I started in November. It's going well. I've been slacking off the last couple of weeks though, gotta pull my head in. Well there's not much to do here either man, There's a skatepark in Bruns and like you said, it's way too hot for that right now. Beach is probably the only thing this place has got... Hope the housemate hunt goes well. It's hard to find people to live with. I've been through plenty of housemates here at my house. In the end, the only other person that lives here now is my brother. Been too many dramas here with friends and aquaintances so I'm not going to bother with anyone else. I know I can live with my brother, I've done it most of my life lol. There's a reason people say "do your research". I didn't know anything about anything when I first joined RC ( I still don't, really )I asked questions that now appear pretty silly to me. Pretty much everything you will need to know is on this website, if you do some reading, you will find the answers to your questions. Seeing as I've taken the time to write this, I may aswell throw some numbers out there. Since you have an AE71, if it's a manual then all you will really have buy is a 4AGE which could set you back $500 or it could cost $1500 depending on condition and choice of engine (16v, 20v, GZE etc) With almost all of them you will have to convert it to RWD. Going 20v is a bit more costly too.. And you're going to have to pay for a mechanic's labour which is going to be costly aswell. In future, do some reading. There are some really good write ups on the 4AGE engines and how to put them into E7's. And maybe ask a few import wreckers about pricing on engines, gearboxes etc. Also talk to a mechanic to see what the cost of labour is going to be, That way you can grasp the concept, be the one asking the questions.

I've spun my wheels before. but I would hardly call it a skid. And I don't speed. Especially not in a residential area. I may own a relatively quick car but There's no reason to be a dick with it. Honestly, I've seen too many people i know die around here from (sorry guys) either doing stupid shit or just not having the ability to control a fast car. Now, I'm not saying that I can, because I probably can't. But that's why I don't do stupid stuff in my car. I've been to friends' funerals and I've seen what cars/trucks/bikes can do to people. I won't go into detail but it's not a very nice memory. I see no other reason to do this shit on a public road than having a genocidal death wish. having said all that, I totally agree with Stu. There is a major difference between an enthusiast and a hoon but I suppose the rest of the population don't see it.
