I've got a couple of mates that vinyl wrapped their drift cars in a carbon fibre mimic. It looks the part lol.
Fools heaps of people, "Man, are they carbon panels?" "Yeah, I've got 15 grand to spend on panels :D"
True about the bumps but most people want pics just to complement them on their car anyway. I complement people on their cars and give them a free bump every now and then...I just don't really think it makes a difference.
Most photos of cars in for sale threads are old and the car looks completely different than it did when the photo was taken. Well that's how its been when I've showed up to look at a prospective buy. If people are genuinely interested in buying a car surely they can muster up the energy to call the guy selling it and ask for some pictures by email or something. I think anyway...Buying a car isn't always as easy as just have a look at a photo or two, rock up, pay for it and drive home in it. When buying a car youre probably going to have a look around and go and check out a couple of different cars anyway...
Fair enough. I'm not a street warrior either, I know people that are/were and it normally gets them one of two places, Loss of licence and heavy fines or in a crash or both.
I don't mind having the power there though.
I don't have a trailer or a tow car so I'm aiming for a streetable track car somewhere down the line.
All depends on what you want the car for i suppose.
Those turbo thingys are pretty fun though....haha
