  1. Grim & ae71neo: Yep 1JZ :P
  2. Paul: There was a guy on Toymods making some custom RCA's, although I think for now he was focusing on AE86 ones. Not neg camber, just standard RCA's. I can't actually run standard RCA's due to my control arm/strut/brake setup, so neg camber it has to be. Besides, I wouldn't mind dialing in more neg camber and track, although I'm half afraid it might stuff up my scrub radius more...
  3. :) Noooooooooooooo :P
  4. Panda KE70 with a 20V in Malaysia:
  5. I'm using Corona RT132 struts, with AE86 steering knuckles. I can't see why they wouldn't fit...
  6. More FUN: I LOVE THIS CELICA :P :) :D And check out that KE25 in the background! And a crazy KE30 from Thailand: Guess what engine? :jason:
  7. Short shift kit, neg camber RCA's. I'd love to get some of those quad throttle body adapters too, but hmm, no money :P
  8. I know, I was really hoping to be able to test out the hydraulic handbrake too... :P
  9. Paul: No probs. So that'll be USD264.75, which with current exchange rates is AUD375.32. I'm not sure how much shipping is yet - I'll let you know. Will need payment in advance too...
  10. I looked up the Qld Transport website: http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/qt/faqs.ns...a25691000810ce5 Basically in order to get a slimline plate, first you have to "customise" your plate. This costs $65.80, and basically what happens is they make 2 new plates that are identical to the ones you already have, and you get to keep these for life, even if you change cars etc. To get the slimline option, you pay an additional $33.90. So, all up it will cost you $99.70 to get slimline plates that are pretty much identical to the ones you already have, except one of them is well... slimline. Not worth it I recon...
  11. Unfortunately HSCCQ have had to cancel this event, due ground hire problems beyond their control. Next event is 17/10 which is a QMS round :) I've deleted the entry from our calendar since it's no longer happening :D ps Rob: you're quick :P
  12. Yes but you have to pay for slimline "ordinary" plates too... And if you're already going to be forking out money for plates I recon you might as well get "cheapo" custom ones (ie 3 digit 2 letter or 3 letter 2 digit)
  13. Heh, I've been wanting to get a set of plates for Hal for awhile now (like, since I bought the shell itself back last September...), but yeah - I can't seem to justify the monies :) Although, that said - it would allow more air to my oil cooler, so maybe I can justify it as a "performance mod" :P
  14. "only" 28? :P
  15. That is priceless. Where would one get something like that???
  16. Oh, you meant AUD220 :P Sorry, a bit slow here :)
  17. Irokin: BTW, where did you get $220 from? http://www.technotoytuning.com/t3_site_pag...ber_plates.html They list it for USD170 (AUD241)? With applications for AE86 Corolla, KP61 Starlet, Mango Corolla, S13 240SX, 73 Celicas, Datsun 510. What is a Mango Corolla? I would assume this is a TE27?
  18. Right, I believe the order is going in before the end of next week (along with another big order). At this stage it looks like I'll be finalising my order on Wednesday (29th). All monies have to be paid upfront. At this point it looks like we'll be using ground freight (approx 4-6 weeks shipment), it's by far the cheapest. We're ordering a fair number of things so hopefully they'll give us a discount, and who knows maybe we might even be able to throw it on airmail (3-5 days) for the same price if we're lucky...
  19. USD220 for a brand new set of camber tops isn't actually all that bad. Have you ever priced a set of KMac or Noltec ones? Last time I checked they were about AUD400+ Justin: Really don't know. At the moment debating if I should order the stuff now and pay the extra $30 or so in postage and get it sooner, or if I should wait till I go to the US at the end of the year and get it then... But that would mean I'd have to carry the stuff back too, and I don't like carrying lots of stuff when I travel...
  20. I may be putting an order through to them soon, if I do does anyone want anything? Save on shipping and stuff :P Oh yeah, if you don't know who they are, this is their website: http://www.technotoytuning.com/ They make nice things. I've seen their short shift kit and I've seen their RCA's, and they're really very nice :)
  21. That's awesome :P DWF55 it shall be then! Say... Bluedwarf has to have full rego right? Cause it's not yet 30?
  22. Pssssst everyone, Datgirl (aka Auntie Datgirl) is actually quite old :P Happy Birthday Rob :) What do you give someone who has everything? *edit* ... but of course we all know that older women ROCK :D
  23. Is it really Rob's birthday?
  24. Umm... At this stage, no. They are pretty well supported (just below floor and then at the MC) and besides, not much goes around that area anyway. I might make something up later maybe, when I start thinking of fabricating things like a footrest for both driver and navigator etc... Probably after the cage goes in... Dunno. At this stage, I'm only really concentrating on getting the new diff in, getting new rear brakes to work, hooking up new handbrake lever to new brakes, stuff like that...
