  1. This seems to be making a craze in Malaysia for some reason: Oil Filter Magnet Thoughts? I personally think it's a gimmick.
  2. The second handbrake isn't properly bolted up yet, just have to cut, drill and paint the rear mounting plate (and make the cables to suit the diff). Also need to paint it too...
  3. Oh wow, if I'm not mistaken that TE27 (or KE25, whatever) is running a 7AGTE!!!
  4. Hey look, more cars: "Mitsubishi Lancer GSR" (more like, wannabe Proton Wira with Evo wing, skirts and CC Lancer coupe bonnet and headlights and some custom front spoiler...) That Datsun 120Y I mentioned before (aka Datsun Sunny) AE86. Umm... WHY???
  5. Heh, oh well if it's any consolation at all I recon it looks a shiteload better than that Datsun 120Y behind it (well, to the right, behind it, beige colored) with the big drift wing :P We never got those Datsun 120Y's here in Australia (thankfully).
  6. 239 years!!! Bloody oath... Mine come up to... 46 years.
  7. Hmm, Craig got his rear coilovers for his Datto1200 for like $50... Brand new at that.
  8. Wow, that rear bumper actually looks really straight!
  9. The deep dishes are actually quite hard to get in Malaysia, unless you go with 13x7 Jellybeans which are a-plenty. Most of the importers get the bigger sized rims in, there isn't much market for old Corollas unfortunately. Most people there mod Honda's and newer Corollas and Evos (and Protons) and Skylines. I do like the front lip he has on the car, but yeah not such a big fan of the flares.
  10. Mixed feelings about this car, but I think I kinda like it. Apart from the square flares...
  11. Haven't really had a good look at this site, but at a glance looked interesting... Looks like they're using 4AGZE's to power these plane engines? Replicajets
  12. Paradise Racing Thought this was interesting... They even have coilover kits for front AND rear of old school Corollas...
  13. Hell if I can get conditional rego I'd probably get that for Hal like now... I was just waiting for next September when Hal turns 30, to get special interest rego...
  14. Just flicked through the conditional rego thingy, doesn't sound like the right sort of rego to me? That one sounds like rego for like farm machinery and other such things that are usually used off road (or on private property, construction sites etc) but require limited road use as transport. I don't think a "club race car" will fit in that category... Something that stuck in my head:
  15. Isn't it Special Interest Rego? ie http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/qt/driver....dex/regospecial
  16. You have cool dogs :P
  17. Running a catch can isn't going to lessen or stop the amount of oil you're burning. All the catch can will do is store the gunk that comes out the vent, instead of putting it down the carby. This achieves 2 things (that I can think of anyway): - your carby doesn't get covered in oil - your octane levels in the fuel going into your engine stay more constant since you don't have oily gunk contaminating your AFR. And in case you're thinking of pouring back the stuff in your catch can into your engine, I personally wouldn't. Have you seen the stuff that gets caught in there? It's really rather yucky, and has little resemblance to engine oil...
  18. "Push Up! Your body, Your body next to mine Push Up! I gotta make that sexy booty mine Push Up! And shake it, baby shake that ass Push Up! I love when you feel like getting nasty..." :P
  19. Sup regs, info, entry forms etc for the club motorkhana are on the HSCCQ website If you want you can download the Word forms, fill them in and email them to Keith, and then pay on the day.
  20. Oh cool. Working late tomorrow, will try to pick it up Thursday, if you're around. Will call on Thursday... Ta :P Yay, have also sorted out my "LSD" and spare axles :P
  21. Ah, and I've already managed to scratch his craftmanship :P Dropped the lever (just the lever itself). Oops. Have drilled and painted reinforcement plate, haven't done transmission tunnel yet (drill ran out of battery). Measured, calculated, scratched head, measured and guessed a fair bit - have to make sure when I put the Sprinter box in there I can still use 2nd, 4th and reverse gear :P The shifter sits a whole 115mm further back! I think I've gotten it right though. Dropped tailshaft, looked at brake lines, bending old brake line to go through floor is going to be interesting. Not looking forward to it...
  22. It sounds dodgy...
