this is full custom built by a locksmith in brissie. rides it everywhere now, Mick's here is insane..! twin cam 146cc 5 speed Takegawa gearbox, all the go fast bits. and here is a crazy story: him and my boss' bike were the 2 fastest on the cruise and camp. all weekend they would push each other on the rides. now on sunday, Mick, i am told, was going 130 kph, and streamed past my boss, who was doing about 114. i am back behind these 2 and they are going off into the sunset and i lose them around a corner. i am doing maybe 108 ish? going by the speedo i round this corner to see Mick and my boss on the side of the road, smoke billowing out of Mick's bike, i'm thinking "fck he pushed it too hard" they then tell me the story Mick got away from my boss, and when he rounded the corner, saw Mick weaving crazily all over his lane, as he pulled up, in a big smoke cloud. He gets up to him, and Mick's rear sprocket bolts had worked lose, and locked up his wheel at 130 kph..! very very lucky he kept it upright..! insane..!

we have a big monkey bike club cruise and camp at somerset this weekend, followed by daily rides up through mt glorious. cannot wait..! we had to register with the local cops what we were doing, due to the new VLAD laws that Campbell Newman has introduced. we are fcking 50 cc monkey bikes FFS..! not bloody gun runners...

a couple more recent pics loving this rig..! with the recent wet weather here, i havent had much of a chance to ride her this week. spent this arvo mounting the seat properly, to suit the Gorilla tank, and then tried to start her, but she wouldnt.. ran out of light to fault find hope it was just the rain, etc.. will try again in the light tomorrow. *now, where is that can of 'Start ya Bastard'?*

doo eeeet Doug E just realised i havent posted build info between the postman arriving, and getting her RWC so, i got 3 packages in the mail. 1 black gorilla tank 1 custom bars and riser blocks new switch blocks for the controls fitted it all up and i reckon it looks tough as..! visited the Time Lord we got a huge camp/cruise coming up at the end of this month. got to do a full tune and service on her before then

got a call from Johnny asking if i was up for a crusie, but as i was fixing the gearbox at the time, i said sorry, can't. but would keep him posted. a couple hours later, i felt it was changing ok, so i took her around Prince Henry Drive, and it ran well, so i rang Johnny back ans said if you're up for a quick run, i would be keen(it was near 5pm by then) one thing leads to another, and we end up at Murphy's Ck Bar, again, coldie in hand Johnny with his original looking Chaly(has a 150 Lifan in her tho looking into going a bigger engine for her. can get a Daytona Anima 190(all bot right in) for $1300. or just get a Lifan 125 with a type R head for $300 posted its a cruiser, not a racer, so i am leaning towards the cheaper, lighter, smaller option thoughts?

haha yeah mate. it feels so cramped compared to the scoot or chaly and its funny, coming down mt kynoch towards town, there was a strong breeze blowing randomly over the hill, at one point, it blew me into the next lane...! lol, same mate. my uncle and his kids had them when we were all growing up, unregistered, he used one for his tow bike at the speedways at times. always wanted one, but never thought much of getting one, til i saw Joel with one on here, a year or so ago honestly, its scary with the current setup. they are an over square bore, so don't rev that well, but TORQUE.....omg... i have to lean over the bars when taking off at any sort of 'power', or it pops the front wheel up. I'm sure with the gearing sorted and the longer swingarm, it will help tho got a call from Honda, 3 boxes are waiting for me to pick up.! had no time to get there today, huge day at work. can't wait

thanks mate yeah its great around town, if a bit cramped compared to the scoot and Chaly also, it gets hairy when you are over 80, with the 8" wheels and standard wheelbase definitely plan on at least a +6cm Swing arm, and 10" rims and a disc brake front end conversion like i did on the chaly, would be good too

took her for a Monkey Bike cruise today. clocked over 100ks Stenzel and Sambo trying her for size Crossy's Big Chrome Gorilla and Sambo's J1/Z Murphy's ck pub for a coldie ordered new controls right and left, a gorilla tank, a sidestand(as mine falls over) and bar end mirrors so far

driving her home from Burpengary last Monday night Taky speedo Yoshi pipe purchased some Pro Tapers, custom bar risers and grips first up. not sure if a fan

the day i got her plans are something along those lines more to come
