  1. Thats something i haven't been out to the backyard yet. And thats something which pisses me off with its divots, holes and unevenness.....and thats just the ground not the grass..... JiP, yeah you can come over when ever you want to do my lawns and you can use my mower, and i'll supply the fuel for the damn thing
  2. For the life of me i have nothing to bitch about
  3. "The term "Hoon" was first used in Australia at the turn of the 20th century where it referred to a man living off immoral earnings (i.e. a pimp)." Quoted from the Wikipedia. I've all so found it in one of the dictionaries we have here. But if you have a look in an up to date one you more then likely won't find it..... Good stuff :P
  4. Thats the word i was trying to think of, all that was going though my head was metal lathe. As with the lunch control. If i remember right the programmable ignition by Silicon Chip magazine has something similar with its rev limiter where it cuts, something like, every second or third spark. I think Autospeed.com had an article on it on a DIY launch control thing. But the down side to having a lunch control a carby car is that you'll be dumping raw fuel down the exhaust. Most launch/traction control units operate on EFI - instead of the spark cutting out its the injectors that cut out much safer and engine friendly MegaSquirt Forum might have something worth while
  5. Its called a metal lathe A pretty specialized one at that If your still want to have go at cutting your own cam i'd suggest selling the wife and/or kids But on that note it could be done, but at the same time.....
  6. I guess its a classic case of shop around. I picked up a pedal box for my '55 for about 30 bucks and a pair of ke70 struts for 60 bucks
  7. Has anybody else noticed the "tags" at the bottom ?
  8. Nooo. The Cyborg was mitsubishi only, but its motor and box etc will fit...
  9. Yes twas I would And swap in a Lancer or see if the FTO motor would fit
  10. The KE55 dash is approx 125cm wide
  11. After about two/three months i finely pulled my finger out of my arse and activated my HSBC credit card last week Went to the wreckers on the weekend And the damn thing doesn't bloody work. Works over the phone with checking the account extra But the damn card doesn't bloody work......
  12. omg Congrats mate
  13. Well do you ? lol
  14. Wouldn't say no to a mid 90's Mirage/Lancer but then i'd also be wanting an FTO GP-x that i could wreck
  15. It means he can get away with wearing trashy perfume when he gets homes
  16. Worked on my father-in-laws TR Magna today. He was getting fed up with going back and forth to the mechanics to get a weird clunking type of noise in the steering fixed. They replaced all the bushes and new bearings, but the noise was still there..... till tonight :hmm: Some idiot who fitted new shocks didn't fit the top mount properly for the spring and when the right hand wheel turned full lock to the left it would hit/scrape on the body of the car. And I fixed it. Just about hated every step of the job. But I fixed it.
  17. Have a better look And the build plates not the normal one either. Apart from the toyota emblem on the plate there's no jap writting and it says its "Manufactured by Australian Motor Industries LTD" and not the normal "Toyota Motor Co"
  18. Someone was feeling pretty special on thursday I'm guessing toyota made a little muck up when they put this ke55 to the road Bit of a shame its an auto.... No plant details and axle/transmission either....
  19. Where i work the owner, pat, who shell remain nameless. Is driving just about everybody up the wall and at times even over it. Like today, i was busy head down bum up almost finished in marking off goods that have come in and he waddles over and tells me to get on with it, i'm taking to long to get it done. Turns around walks off a few steps turns back around a tells me that the stuff on the transport table has to be packed up cause its all for a courier that will be turning up in a few minutes, about five different orders, and only one was for the courier that was turning up. The old man looks at what i've done goes "Humpf" and asks why i haven't finished on marking off the goods that have turned up....... I'm pretty sure i've even over heard even his own family joking that it'd good if he could take an early retirement. Man, when the old man goes power tripping everybody and his dog goes ducking for cover.....
  20. For some reason or another i couldn't get "nucking futs" out of me head around 2-3 o'clock today So did my girlfriend and i liked it too
  21. If thats the case i'd like to bump into one of the girls at work. Nice little rear bumper she has. Oops, sorry, didn't realise that the subject was about cars and bumping them My bad
  22. Needed better camera work i reckon. I was almost on the edge of my seat hoping the d/h would have flipped it or rolled it to show people why you don't do stupid shut like that in the sand. Phucking wanker. Should have used a Morris Major instead of a Moke in the shark scene. Other then that thought it was alright for its first show
  23. Not really. Its cheap its easy but its not the best way of doing cause of the extra torsional twisting (or whatever its called) where the axle will tend, or want to wind up every time you put the power down. Have a google for it. I'd be going for the option that redwarf said
