4afc Interference Or Non-interference?
towe001 replied to RWannabe's topic in AExx Corolla Discussion
Non-interference And as far as i know the 20v is the only interference head/block -
Anyways enough of that...... On the way back from Maryborough sitting in with the other traffic doing about 100 (couldn't be bothered passing anything at that speed). The whole stream of traffic got passed by some dickhead in a late model falcon. Yeah fair enough that he did it on a passing section, till you realise that to do it he had to have been up around 180 or so. And from the flyby he did and from his back window, wife and two kids in with him. Total disregard for on coming traffic when he passed other traffic that was to slow for this dumb f@$k. And yet there's a massive crack down on people pulling skids. They say it dangerous I know which car i'd sooner be sitting in and it ain't with the father figure racer dickhead Sending that to TodayTonight and see what those wankers have to say about it

towe001 replied to montryrommel's topic in AExx Corolla Discussion
I think i'd be seeing about a compression test first. If that comes back negtive have a poke around the intake manifold and carby for air leaks -
Nar, i know the mister won't happen. She's had the chance more then a few times. She's told me about the guys that's hit on her and their reactions to her having a boyfriend and two kids. Most can't run quick enough, its the drunks that don't care.... Anyway, after talking to them both (one on one and both together :fuzz: ) i was more or less getting myself all worked up over nothing.
-
wow, you just brightened my day a little..... We've talked about it (threesum) and came very close to it. But it fell apart when her friend came up from sydney to visit family at hervey bay and she couldn't be bothered in coming out to see us. So now that she's back up from sydney........... I want a mistress too Well, why not
-
Sometimes i just can't help but wonder why i even bother. Sometimes i even wonder if i was better off when i was single.....
-
Having to take the girlfriend up to hervey bay for the week so that she can spend it with her mistress. They've been planning it for a few weeks, no threesum just one on one girlie sex. Now you tell my should i class that as cheating and should i do the same thing - pick up myself a mistress......

Ae-82 4ac Rough Idle / Stall Out After Long Runs..help?
towe001 replied to montryrommel's topic in AExx Corolla Discussion
To me it sounds like a fuel starvation problem. And if its what i'm thinking when it happens again see if you shut the motor off and check the filter, see if its got any fuel in it. Cause to me it sounds like you've got a build up of crap in the tank. A similar problem happened to a mates old hi-lux. Not only was he getting to be a real expert on the carby but was starting to get "off" on the fumes. Till my dad turned around and told him to drop the tank and clean the sh&t out of the tank. The amount of crap in the tank was blocking up the up-take pipe. Wouldn't happen all the time but when it did it caused similar problems. If i remember correctly there's a sight glass on the carby. Check that if there's fuel in the filter. If its low your problem would be the float and/or the needle sticking. The idle-up valve could be sticking. Helps in bringing the idle back up when the motors at temp. Could be another thing to follow up on As a side note the idle should be around 850 or so being an auto. About 100rpm higher then a manual. -

Maybe if the traffic could keep up with ,or maybe even be a little faster, then the truckies wouldn't have to sit in the right lane People that bash the elderly and disabled. These scumbags have no respect for the elderly/disabled so why should we show them respect. Drag them through the streets, lock them in stockades and treat them how they treat the elderly/disabled..... Dark ages, middle ages Either way i don't care its what these scumbags deserve and little else........

I can relate to that 1 hour drive to work Plus i had to be there about 40 minutes early before i started so that i could get changed into my work uniform, which they supplied on site and if the uniform taken home the criminal would receive a verbal plus a written warning (one more strike and your out the door) of the fact the uniform is NOT to leave the premises. I've known a few people that had to drive home in their undies due to the change room doors being locked after dark due the fact of warning letters etc.....

I don't know how to say it, but all the best. I know more or less know what your going through, my little boy had to spend about the first three weeks of his life in a mini crib and it still brings a tear to my eyes every time i remember it. And late last year he had to spend two nights in hospital due to gastro. What brightened my day was seeing The Starlight Foundation come in to the hospital Simply awesome

Basically HSFA is Toyota's way of telling us its a four door sedan with an automatic gearbox and the numbers at the end of the letters has nothing to do with chassis codes. The chassis code (or what i should be saying is frame number) starts with KE55E-9xxxxx (as with the ke55) the ke30 starts with KE30-7xxxxx its found on the firewall.

Intake leak some where after the carbies I'd say

That also pisses me off as well. The wankers also do it on the double lines, sit well under the limit and then speed up to a little over the limit on the broken lines. God help you if you try to pass them.... Hope you got his details.... And then make him pay for the damage, cause he was at fault. And ain't that the truth. Gods gift to Noosa, you can spot a local and tourist a mile away by their use of a round about

This is the compliance plate and it might have the seating capacity but what it doesn't have is engine type, chassis code, etc thats on the build plate.

Where Was My Ke20 2 Door Sedan Assembled?
towe001 replied to f1erce's topic in Automotive Discussion
Well there you go, it was made at Toyota Motor, Takaoka No.1 -
Australian compliance plate is just that - what design rules the car complies with at the time of manufacture (eg - seat belts, seating, EPA crap, etc etc) Where as the build plate is to show what motor, gearbox, diff is in the car, what colour and trim codes are used, where the car was made, the "VIN". Incidentally the "VIN" is also stamped on to the firewall next to the build plate. For us (australia) we only got a basic "VIN" number on the cars. From memory its the engine code (eg - 3k) and then about 6-8 numbers which is/was the cars' build date (also its chassis code). America got a more formal version that gave the lot. Well, almost the lot. I'm to lazy (and warm in bed) to go out to garage and grab the info from the manufacturers parts catalog. If its just the compliance plate you need, just go to the wreckers and find another one and grab the screws holding it as well
