  1. I generally carry my phone with me cause of the clock and calculator on it. But i have my phone set on "meeting", and it only beeps once when i receive a message (if i get the time i'll check it and maybe reply) everything else is silent, Anything to do with an emergency goes straight to the office, that way the office staff and boss know why i'm running out the door. At times i think it pisses the girlfriend off cause she'll message asking me something and i won't reply for about 2-3 hours. So yeah, having the mobile doesn't really bother me as long as its quiet, your not answering phone calls, texting nonstop, cause work comes first. Unless your a rep or the owner, manager, boss then having the mobile up loud and talking away is apart of work.
  2. I was just thinking that myself Its called a lay shaft.
  3. The girlfriend came across a spider today, a little bigger then a 50cent piece. She was telling a friend of hers from Sydney way about it who reckoned it could be a funnel web spider by of the girlfriend's description.... My answer was "No way, too far north for a funnel web, more like sydney way." I had a look at it and it was nothing more then a huntsman. I've seen enough of them to know what a huntsman looks like Anyway, just had a wikipedia search for a funnel web spider and, well, america has an interesting breed in that they live in a community type of way in that they look out for, take care of and provide for each other.... And yes, toowoomba does have a breed of funnel web spider - "toowoomba funnel web" (Hadronyche infensa) that seams like its a little more deadly then the sydney funnel web spider. As well as its own "toowoomba trapdoor spider" (Aganippe berlandi). Me thinks i'll be wearing shoes when ever i go outside at night now...... And to think, i was just starting to get use to having to live with damn redback spiders
  4. Interesting. What else you reckon it could be used for ? Like, off the top of my head, the pumpkin cover on the diff, maybe ? Don't mean to send the topic off
  5. Cool. Going to have to look into that on my big port in the morning. I was told the seals, etc had to be changed over.
  6. Ever thought of bike mirrors mounted on the guards http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Honda-Suzuki-Kawasa...1QQcmdZViewItem
  7. :) hahaha i like it
  8. Grease you say ?! But wouldn't that melt after a while from the heat :)
  9. And don't forget the valve gear (rocker posts, etc) are a better quality on the 4k. So swap them over as well. With the 3k big port, from memory the oil thingys around the valves are different so if you use the 4k gear you'll have to swap that stuff over as well. Which would be a trip to a engineering shop.
  10. Floor staff Even saying "race", as in "that persons race..." can be classed as racist. I wonder who's going to start having fits over Santa and christmas With many thanks to the PC nazis and the femo-nazis, what a wack job of a world we have to now live in.
  11. Always thought the guy was gay
  12. :jamie: I've found breakfast is the way to go
  13. Crikey, no wonder their rare... Crikey, learn something old every day. Crikey, always thought it was odd never being able to grab fifth from a four speed 'box. Now i know why Crikey, maybe use a t50 clutch, and get it cheaper Couldn't help it havin a dig :jamie:
  14. Why does "Kick start my heart" come to mind :jamie: lol
  15. Sounds about what mine is but with the square lights
  16. :) might have to look into that, my dad has a 5 speed '35 thats just sitting under the house gathering dust and crap
  17. So true, my square lighted '55 is nothing more then a ke30
  18. Did the whole big Mac thing on saturday at noosa Scored me a sticker from one of the rep's today
  19. True but you are increasing the power of the motor by more then 15% which is supposedly frowned upon
  20. Nice find And i'd reckon you would have gotten your t50 with a k bellhousing pretty dirt cheap to As for cars - most that had a t-series motor (like ta22 celica, t18) or an a-series rear drive donk (eg ae71)
  21. And here i thought that was pretty good Hearing the grinder screaming its head off as it ripped through some metal. Watching the sparks flying out of the building. Bits of the car getting chucked out. As with the diesel thing of using less fuel. Personally i think its just all hype. Yeah sure these has been a fair bit of advancement with things like single rail direct injection and computer control. When its compared to, say, the new model corolla with its 1.8lt vvti you beut 100kw donk, yes the diesel does use less fuel. But so does the red top 4age which also gets 100kw. Yes i do like diesels but i don't believe the hype they're saying about it. As for the show itself, i think its getting better. Its got a steep climb if it has to be the same as TGuk, but its getting its own personality, similar styles but its own personality, which i think is a good thing
  22. Yeah those Irwin Bolt Grip things are pretty good. You can also get them in a hard case as well for about 10-15 bucks extra.
  23. http://www.justtools.com.au/prod3529.htm Have a look in the phonebook for a Blackwoods store http://www2.blackwoods.com.au/Default.aspx
  24. Ditto on that. At times find it in a way abuse - sit back and think about that, even knowing that you, the average guy, wouldn't touch (or maybe you would) a chick (18+) dressed like it but you still enjoy the perv and think to yourself "She's asking/wanting it". Now put that onto the body of an underage girl and you've got abuse. I won't even let my step-daughter wear that trash. Whereas her father does, wonders why people look at her and complains that when he was a kid it was safe to walk the streets, so to speak, without the parents watching. Maybe just maybe if these parents dressed their kids better.......
  25. Nope not yet. But the segment with the STI is pretty close to home at the Oakey airbase. Always seeing tigers flying around Good stuff
