  1. Yeah true but if he doesn't want something you'll know about it :bash:
  2. Oh, i don't know. Want to see the model trains before we leave. The one thing that i'll be glad to leave behind is the grandparents, but.
  3. Grandparents that don't know who's in charge, neither of them know what the other one is talking about, they both want to show the same things but they want it done differently, One says left the other says right. And to top it right off a 2 year old screaming from the back seat cause he's getting sick of being in the car and all he wants to do is get out and his great grandmum telling him to have a drink. Me - "All he wants is to get out of his chair and walk around" Grandmum - "No, he wants and drink. Here you go Jacob have this drink" Jacob - "NOOOO." and pushes it away Grandmum - "Drink this Jacob."
  4. Trouble With Ke55 Manual Conversion, manual conversion Haven't been able to try it out at all
  5. Laying in bed last night trying to get to sleep and started hearing all this commotion outside the hotel, like metal on metal banging etc etc. Just heard on a local news update that there was a gang fight or something near us and one of them got stabbed... And if that doesn't spin your dial - the girlfriends dad found a spent bullet shell out the front when we first got here....
  6. It can't be that hard ?!
  7. christmas carrols - larry the cable guy
  8. Drunk People...."LAST CALL"!!!!
  9. Ditto on that. Give it a compression test. Just cause the motor isn't using coolant doesn't mean it doesn't have a blown head gasket, it could have blown in the next cylinder or into the oil gallery or its venting outside or at worst the area between the valves could have cracked.
  10. If you place the auto cross member up against the manual x-member you should find the holes line up on the car http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...st&p=239112 Haven't had the chance to try it out yet but its worth a shot
  11. Some nice classics running around town This old ford pick up must have been running an electric motor or something, cause the thing behind it was louder Only seen pictures of a convertible z350 till now and i still don't know if i like them
  12. Sorry Jip i asked first :P But i'll share
  13. Who's that in the middle ??
  14. Take it back You should still have new car warranty on it. Even if you are a second owner
  15. In one simple quick answer no In a long and slow answer The '55 didn't have both mounts for the 'boxes - it was auto only or manual only. Which means that since your '55 is an auto you'll only have the mounts for the auto and not the manual, which sit back a bit. There's another thread around from a couple of months back on the same thing and one of the guys posts that he just welded the cross-member for the manual to the auto cross-member and it all matched up. I think he also said that he had some pictures of it in his rides thread as well...

  20. Back to paying over the dollar mark ($1.13) for unleaded petrol again for a while.....Filled the tank up at Goondiwindi for about 86cents to the liter. Having to go through the thing of resetting my body clock of that the time here in wagga is an hour forwards. When i start getting hungry the only place still open is Maccas.
  21. Nice, thats an MG right ? Haven't seen a fastback one before only the "liftback" type. About an hour or so into nsw we ran into a rain storm (its the grey smokey area) Looks kinder then what it was Dad 004 Drove like a secret agent on a mission too 8:30pm at the John Oxley caravan park, Coonabarabran, NSW about 3 hours south of Goondiwindi
  22. You should try sitting behind wankers that tow horse floats - they will not move over for anybody including big ol' trucks. Empty or full they don't move off the black top, period. But like orangeLJ said - its not just the learner but also the idiot teacher in the passenger seat who should know better in the first place.... Road works ?! Thats normal, its the school holidays and the transport departments way of showing us their christmas spirit and joy to all
  23. Idling at zero doesn't sound right it, should be up more around 20. Sounds like you have the timing way off its mark and maybe other things In a way your right with calling it "anti-boost" cause when the needle drop to zero the motor is seeing no pressure at all expect for normal air pressure. But it shouldn't be dropping all the way to zero anything above and between zero and 5 is ok I wouldn't do that. You'd be running pressurized fumes from the motor. You have it connected to right hose Note - all thins is being taken from a single carb and not a twin carb. But either way i can't see there being anything different. The other carby should have a vacuum connection in the same spot as the "main' carby it'll just have it blocked off - try swapping the gauge over and see if there's any difference in readings. Both readings should be pretty close together
  24. After the carby or throttle body. Basically what your after is "ported vacuum" Eg - Tee it in to the vacuum hose that runs from the carby to the dizzy Or as a last resort the hose that runs to the brake booster - But if there's is a one way valve in the line have your tee piece between that and the manifold http://www.international-auto.com/index.cfm?fa=ad&aid=48 http://autospeed.com/cms/A_2393/article.html
  25. Finely got to see The Dark Knight  And i finely really get to understand why the huge rave was with Heath Ledger. He was simply awesome as The Joker and no one else could have pulled it off as well as him...
