  1. Ke70 struts are shorter I wouldn't really bother unless its a case of have to The calipers are more or less the same - they can be swapped. So are the rotors same with the wheel bearings ke70 shocks are shorter then the ke55/ke3x - but as from Monroe sizing their both a T1 or approx 39mm wide ke70 springs are narrower - but i don't remember if their shorter as well the top hat has to be swapped over to the ke55/ke3x one - the bolts on the ke70 top hat are in a different location. I think you'd be better off hunting down either t18 or ae86 struts cause of their bigger diameter tubing (51mm or so, instead of 48mm) giving a bigger range of shocks
  2. You should have been me today with some dumb arse victorian behind driving a wanker. Putting it this way i now understand why most people on some of the streets out here hang a little bit further to the left side of a two way road... Its to stop idiots from overtaking you from the left side and once they're in front pull to the middle of your side of the road and slam on the brakes to make a left hand turn
  3. Yeah noticed that with the front hole but didn't really worry to much about it I'll hunt up one of the old calendars at home here nick its reinforcement thingy and mod the RC one a little. Too easy
  4. Yeah i know the feeling. When we went down to wagga we took the back way (Newel Highway) and most of it was 110 limit, where as the towns was a 50k limit. The plan was of taking the coast road back home here and was kind of dreading it cause of the speed cameras and their stupid locations and the lowered speed limits around them...
  5. Well well I just got mine  Good work Jip :P Now i've just got to find a good place to hang it Thinking of in the garage with my feature wall of matchbox cars :P

  9. I was going to but the chick that owned it was on her way back to the "thing" and i don't want to give her a head to match her stupid looking sunnies. I've seen the thing around town a few times so i'll see about getting photo's
  10. Yes and no. My eldest will just sits there and sulk. We've worked out that sending her to her room till she thinks its time for her to come out works pretty good, but thats only when she gets all sulky and such. She can come back out when ever she wants to but only after she has settled down and not before hand, thats the only rule she gets told and it works pretty good. And Jip - if you haven't figured it out, kids tend to do the weirdest things. Like last night when we was at pizza hut for some unknown reason my youngest started giggling for no reason at all which turned in to him laughing (and his got a really cool laugh) which started a few of the other tables laughing which in turn got him even more worked up.....
  11. And while i'm on the subject of being at the transport department The uglist looking Yaris came in Metallic hot pink or something with chrome looking TRD stickers over it and a cannon muffler hanging out the back

    Spotted Qld

Spotted JiP washing Lolla or mucking around on her some time after 12 on monday. Would have blasted the horn and cried out but didn't get much of a chance.
  18. What a crock of crap.... At times the only way you can stop a kid from doing something that he/she is not suppose to do is to give them a wack on the bum or on the hand cause telling them no just does no-thing. Like try telling it to a 2 year old who thinks its all just one big game that while he's bugging his older sister in pulling her hair, steeling off whatever she's trying to play with etc etc. You ask her to slap him back and she wont all she'll do is "stop it", "your hurting me", you've told him off time and time again. You send him to either the naughty corner or his bedroom and he settles down only to re-start after he's away from the naughty corner or where ever you sent him..... The only way is to give him a wack on the bum makes him pull his head in pretty fast Yes, i give my kids a wack on the bum or hand only when its needed and deserved....
  19. We just had to go through the pain of watching americas top model rubbish. Hey, we was having tea and neither of us could be arsed in changing channels.... Oh i just don't care
  20. It'd have to be this weekend coming cause going up to harvey bay for the week. The knob could even be a push on/pull off style. There's also some that's screwed on.
  21. If its got the 4k in it then the k50 5speed from another ke70 or if you can find one, a t50 5speed with the k-t bellhousing. look high look low and be ready to pay through the nose for one if its what your really after... If your planning on using the 4ag motor then you'll be chasing after a t50 5speed from another 4a powered car (eg - ae71, ae86) so that it'll bolt start up to the 4ag. The t50 would be able to handle a bit of flogging.
  22. If its the part where the water/coolant goes into then no. But i remember something like it happening to my old twincam seca. Worked it out to be the tps wasn't working, it had no power getting to it cause i forgot to hook it up...... The moral to that is - it might be hooked up but does it have power....
  23. About the width of a hacksaw blade (0.8mm)
  24. If its anything like the ke25 there should be a grub screw on the underside of the knob. Behind that you should find a 14mm thin nut that's holding the switch in place. But that's from the experience i had with my old '25
