  1. It already has a JDM 86 front, so that's all square. Thanks for that mate. Your guy wasn't further south of the coast was he?
  2. Hi guys, I'm still relatively new to Queensland and it's laws, I have purchased a 4A-GE AE71 from a friend in Melbourne and I will be bringing it up here and when the current registration expires I will get QLD reg on it. However I know that states have far from uniform laws when it comes to modifications and conversions, in Victoria it isn't even very defined, some authorities say because there is no displacement increase that you don't need an Engineers certificate or anything... Moral of the thread - What's your idea on the process of having a 4AGE AE71 legally on Queensland roads?
  3. It got sold today, pretty sad letting it go. I have something pretty cool on the way though...
  4. More in stock. I have some more of the RollaClub Windscreen stickers coming in this week that haven't been pulled in height. The ones I have now are 1000x100, the ones coming will be 1000x64.
  5. Nobody keen?
  6. Updated. Stickers in stock. I have just under 10 in black and the same for white in street cred (massive pain to weed) Disco stickers will be getting picked up this Friday. I am getting a run of 5 in white. Measured up my screen to get a decent fit on them. Getting picked up on Friday.
  7. I've found a couple of places that are recommended. I was completely unaware that majority of mechanics offered it, first time getting anything machined though. Yeah, I'll be sure to keep an eye on the price tag. Thanks mate.
  8. Looking to get a pair of front rotors machined. Who do you recommend that is cost effective on the Gold Coast? Cheers.
  9. The first batch of stickers will be ready at some point next week. I'll post here in relation to how many of what I have, as this is just a small trial run to see what is easiest to weed and plot etc. In the mean time, feel free to post how many of which design you're keen for so I can start to build up a little log of how many of what I should get printed. I can say now that the 'Block" design WILL be available in windscreen size prints, however they won't be available in the first run of stickers.
  10. I'm getting a few of the designs tried and testing this week. If you would like some of the first found stickers, please post the style name I allocated to the design as well as the quantity you would like. I'll be getting 5-10 of all the designs that show demand just as a trial order. I'll be posting the prices on assessment of the order, I can't really see a reason why they would be dear. Cheers. Also - the number 3 'Block' design will definitely be available in windscreen size format. I'll just have to work out a universal size for corollas. Obviously due to size and the fact that I will send them in postal tubes so they don't get folded they will be a fair bit higher in price.
  11. Cheeky RC session at work... Updated.
  12. I'll work to find some good fonts and period specific designs when I get some time. I'll also revise some of the other designs. That was the main motivation for the designs 1 and 2, I even tested them from afar. They are very defined and simple fonts. Pending what my guy says, I don't see why I couldn't do one off large stickers with dimensions to suit different screens if I was given the measurements.
  13. I was already going to get a couple of the old ones done, so you're in luck. I'm getting comic sans done just for you now Reed.
  14. Oh, and I've already started to cook up a few designs in advance. Pretty rad!
  15. How to order. www.rollalife.bigcartel.com Rollaclub Logo stickers available.
  16. How many globes are needed to replace all the dash globes? 6? Are you changing all of the 'accessory' globes too? (Heater or whatever)
  17. There looks to be a bit of room left on the sleeve, but they are long strokes. I'm going to see how it goes with these as they are but helpers and short stroke shocks are probably going to have to happen. Don't really want to go too much lower to be honest. EDIT: Do they not look run-able to you?
  18. I started sourcing sleeves and stuff for my struts as I'm pretty keen to get some coil overs in there. As I was searching for steering arms I found these bad boys. Picking them up tomorrow. I'll also be looking to get sway bars and a strut brace for the front. I called bridgestone and RE001's are reasonably cheap through them, so once I'm ready to bolt everything in, I'll get a pair of those for the from. Sway bar for the rear might be a bit of a prick, I'm not experienced with fab work that much, but I have a mate that had a AE71 Panno that is good for advice. Oh, and my brother and I went halvsies in a AE71. It's incomplete, no motor and a blown diff. Body is pretty good though. $250 + trailer hire. How we got it. Filthy. Dead toad in footwell and all. Probably not cleaned for 10 years or so. After a couple of washes. Interior also came up pretty awesome.
  19. Thanks mate. I'll do what I can to hold on to her.
  20. Keep the photos coming!
  21. As a relatively new member, I would be more than happy to chip in where possible. Would it be possible to have both small advertising revenue and a yearly based donation drive? That would be my personal preference, as it would give me a kind of 'billing' period where I could sling spare money to the site once a year. Thank you, by the way. Rollaclub is mad.
  22. After painting a fair part of my interior black and the rest being quite dark colours, at night it was near impossible to see/find my wallet. So I installed some tiny LED strips (white, just look blue because my floor was clean for a change) in the footwells that come on with the dome light when the door opens. (Please don't hate, it's for function, not form. :S) Luisi is also in, but the slim boss kit I got that is to suit an ae101(?) does not line up with the KE power band so I don't have a horn for the moment, but the wheel actually seems to be a bit far away as it has no dish so I might just get a standard KE boss kit and fit that instead. Indicators pins(?) also don't line up so I have to turn my indicator off manually, should be an easy fix with a file if I can be bothered.
  23. Hi Banjo, From what I gathered on the diagrams the vacuum advance was on the chassis side of the carby? After playing around with my idle mixtures and the timing on the dizzy, I finally managed to get it running and idling decently, however it's still far from perfect. I'll probably do a lead, coil, points and plugs change and see how that goes. Another thing it might be - Do 4K's have PCV valve from factory? because I did rip that pipe out and put a mini cleaner on there, so that may also be affecting the idle? Cheers.
