  1. Yeah dude, I'm well aware but sometimes response time and having to deal with postage etc. shit me. A whole bunch of stuff. Just want a self serve wreckers to play around in. Self serve are also ideal for me as I don't have too much experience with mechanical aspects I can get experience from removing the part before I install it.
  2. Does anyone know if there is another place to find the toymods guide? Their forums seem to be down...
  3. 2010 thread but I'll try my luck. I'm looking into a 3T-C conversion into my KE70. I already have access to a full motor and gear box, they have been pulled straight out of a T-18. Will I be able to run straight off the T-18 (T50) gearbox and drive shaft or will I have to run something else (AE71 driveshaft)? Just in summary for future readers and to confirm... AE71 cross member with T-18 mounts. AE71 pedalbox. T-50 gearbox on a AE71 gearbox crossmember. are all needed to make it a bolt up affair?
  4. Sup. I have been blessed with an almost rust free shell, my engine bay managed to soak up all the rust... I have been attempting to start the repairs my cleaning out my cooling system however, shortly after I changed over my radiator it sprung a leak. All my hoses and everything aren't leaking and it's a bit of a bugger to trace back. I'll bang up some photos and if you could give me a hand identifying/tracing back the leak. Having no actual cooling problems while driving, engine is still strong and stays cool. It's dumping a considerable amount of water/coolant even though it's just a consistent drip. There is no leak when the car is off, only when the coolant is flowing... Dripping off Highest I can trace to
  5. I'm still relatively knew to the Gold Coast and I've been stalking the internet and local area for ages trying to find a decent wreckers for corolla parts. I find self serve wreckers preferable but whatever goes! Know of anywhere good, would love to hear from you.
  6. Looks incredibly close to factory dude! One of the best 'custom' air boxes I've seen. Do you need an air box for modplate in QLD?
  7. Standard seats in - booking in for roady this week and hopefully rego Thursday.
  8. They're in! Just had to apply a shit tonne of force to the opposite rails and they went in. 3 Hours of work to get factory seats in... Wow, I'm a failure. Cheers for ideas Reed.
  9. Nor had I until now... the passenger seat went in without the spacer, my mate said that the spacer should be on both rear inner bolts. Maybe he was smoking crack at the time?
  10. Now it's incredibly weird. My passenger seat is now in. I had to force it a little. The rail has a little movement in it. Probably under a cm, will that be a problem? HOWEVER. using the same method as the passenger seat, the drivers is wayyyyyy out. Three bolts are in fine. But the front outer bolt is out by a fair bit, very strange. EDIT: By three bolts in I mean on thread but not tight. (Duh)
  11. Panno exclusive I'm pretty sure. I'll give it a crack now. Keep the ideas coming though...
  12. Front inner not lining up.
  13. Back bolt not lining up. (Back outer) Rear inner with spacer under rail. Rear inner spacer Seeminly stock rail controls = seemingly stock rails (Dude I got them off said he pulled them straight out of a KE70)
  14. The rails seem fine, they're not bent (still slide perfectly). Not ruling that out though, but it would be extremely unlikely for both the drivers and passenger to be out? Nope, they went to the tip before I drove to QLD.
  15. Hey guys. I have been trying to fit a pair of standard KE70 seats into my Panelvan but it looks like they aren't going to bolt in... I have spoken to a couple of Panno experienced friends and they seem to think that they should. I tried to bolt them in with and without the inner rear spacer but they are still off enough so the rails won't bolt up. Does the Panelvan have a unique floor plan or something? I really want to get some standard seats in for Roady and reg this week so help would be much appreciated. I also have a pair of KE70 seats with ke30(?) rails on them and they won't line up, not to sure if they are the same rails. Six pack of your choice to the bloke that can help me get something to work for roady. Quite desperate. If your close to me (Elanora, QLD) and could come lend a hand if modding is needed (serious lack of tools on my behalf) that would also be great.| Cheers.
  16. New exhaust is one, 2" (little big but it worked out he had spare piping that was the right length so a little cheaper) to a hi flow muffler. Running a lot better just need to find some cheap extractors and it'll be breathing perfectly. Picking up new seats and a radiator tomorrow morning. Should have roady and reg by the end of this week. Looking forward to not driving the Starlet around. Super busy weekend, so hopefully next weekend I will get around to reskinning/carpeting the dash and a deep clean of all the plastics. Will put some photos up in the next few days.
  17. Thanks mate. I'd done it before but just had a huge brain fart trying to do it. Thank god it's Friday...
  18. I was just wondering how to change the topic title of a topic I have posted. Cheers.
  19. Could I grab an RC logo in white? Feel free to PM.
  20. Looks pretty clean. Well done. Should have quad setup - http://www.rollaclub...s/page__st__270 There's a set on gumtree at the moment - http://www.gumtree.c...arts/1010908599 Also, search for Kay Parts on Facebook. Price for the Quads vary quite a bit. To my knowledge 400-500 is the average price for the full kit. For the flat front conversion - Back in Melbourne, I got a couple of sets just from the local wreckers. Will be pretty cheap there too. Price for panels - I have never paid more than $20 a panel (perfect panels). But I'm a bit of a cheapo... Hope that helps.
  21. I have a pet hate for using numbers for letters... Best I could do was 'BKE70' for $445, might pick them up soon. It would have preferred something nicer though... Is there any reason why they are so high, or is it just the way it is? I was wondering why I only ever see personalised plates on BMX X5's and Audi R8's up here... EDIT - I just saw for a 7 letter combination it is $3295, HOLY SHIT!
