  1. I'm on the search for a Club on the Gold Coast that has club track days, events and meetings and all that jazz. I'd be alright with the drive for a Brisbane based club or something like that. Primarily, I would love to find a Toyota racing based club, I'm heading down the path of grip for my current Rolla and really want the chance to shoot the shit with other people in to the same kind of stuff whilst learning a thing or two from my more experienced brethren. If someone could point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated. Thank you, Ben. Picture is completely unrelated and even more bad ass.
  2. Oh wow - the picture with the Rays. I might have to sell up and get a ke10 sooner than expected.
  3. I'd be testing the circuit starting from the battery back - as Reed said, fusible links can be a easy to miss. My 16v AE71 has a fuse to the pump that was put in during the swap, to my knowledge it's a somewhat common practice.
  4. That carpet though... Doesn't get much better.
  5. Thanks guys! It's definitely not something that I would have gone out looking to buy, but now that I own it... I kind of love it! The FJ22 powerhouse I snapped the throttle cable being a dickhead, very happy that I did! The cable was corroded to hell and also led to me finding out that the gearbox wasn't bolted in... lol. Longest throttle cable ever. They also have potential to look nice; my motivation.
  6. Primer down to cover the metal, really need to paint it....
  7. I have been looking for another car for a couple of weeks so I had the opportunity to have the Corolla of the road for longer than a day at a time. A month ago I helped my Auntie buy her new car and she set about trying to sell her old T3 Caravelle Kombi, after a little while she had no interest and lost motivation... so she gave it to me :D. Make/Model - 1990 Volkswagon T3 Caravelle Engine - EJ22 Subaru engine conversion Plans; I want it to be daily-able, camp-able and people mover-able Tidy the whole thing up, it hasn't had a very easy life... I've suspected my Auntie's mechanic of ripping her off for a long time now but she always remained faithful to him. It got 'serviced' once every 6-12 months, upon inspection today (2 months after service) there was no oil, oil filter looked 10 years old, the pod filter had to of had 200 000 km's on it... everything wasn't very happy. The gearbox is mounted to the native mounts of the van, which is just a single point mount and then the bolts to the engine. Turns out the gearbox wasn't even bolted in... the bolt was pushed through on one side of the mount and the gearbox was being held in by gravity, no nut in sight. - Gasket kit - Nice wheels - A touch lower - New tint - New bumpers - Rewire dash - Repaint faded trims black Generally just make a respectable daily/camper/people mover out of it. :D More photos tomorrow!
  8. Ahoy, Sure can. Do you happen to have a digital file of the decals? Something to scan? What you got for me?

I looked super close the that car park like an absolute creep... I definitely couldn't fault the thing.
  10. Deep cleaned it, I'll let the pictures do the talking.
  11. I can't even begin to explain how great the thing is. Love it!
  12. I went through and cleaned up the bay a little bit, tried do a half arsed tidy of wire bunches with cable ties. I plan on making the engine bay decent. I have a stainless steel spark plug plate coming as well as lead separators to get rid of the plastic clips. My Mum saw me eyeing of this toolbox a few weeks ago at Bunnings, she came home with it last night for my upcoming birthday! Best mother and present ever!

Lime green KE10 with the number plates KE1968 at The Glen, Victoria. Looked fantastic with a very neat interior. Makin' me want one. It had an old www.rollaclub.com sticker in pink(?) across the back.
  14. I have a ridiculous amount of stock at the moment, I went a little overboard when I made the last set. Any chance of getting this thread pinned Mods?
  15. Sale finished. Updated with new stuff! Yay!
  16. If it has blue interior, let me know!
  17. To the top. Stickers are still discounted!
  18. I have a whole lot of body work to get on top of but she looks great from a distance. By clean you mean sand or something? Like this? http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb179/J_318/P7020127.jpg The freshly painted black trim makes a huge difference I think, I'm a big fan. It really is, but then I suppose there would be a hell of a lot of them and they would be be on par with AE86's with pricing! So in a way I'm quite glad they didn't. I personally much prefer *E7*s to the 86, saying that though, I'd still definitely have one. Where would I place my extra whores with less doors though?
  19. I really want to take mine down, but I'm so skeptic of car meets in Queensland now! It's a shame, because I love taking my cars out regardless of what I have at the time. Has anyone been to any of these in the previous couple of years? What has the road safety and police presence been like? I would prefer not to be scrutinised when leaving the event. <inb4 should be roadworthy <inb4 young and stupid.
  20. My iPod dock broke after 3 years of service, I think I went overkill. (Another tower on the other side of the garage). I have an odd door on the car, so I got to work painting all of the trims on both sides so they all match. The corolla strip is now off and I need to go get a can of paint made up to repaint a section. This is a photo of the half finished trims, I still need to touch up the centre pillar. (My brother and I went to the rock pools near my house and ran in to some Uni kids there on a weekend trip. No one had reception and their lift was 5 KM or so down the hill. So I let them all jump in for the 2 minute drive. All 6 of them fit in the back! I couldn't believe 8 people managed to fit into a Corolla. And another cheeky photo, taken today.

I saw my first ever publica at Burliegh Bunnings!
  22. I traded the Z10 wheels for some Hurricanes and gave them a lick of paint. I also chopped a coil or so off the springs. My brothers T18 and my AE
