stock agze will get you 300hp when switched to turbo - the cost of turbo, piping, SA is what determines cost stock 3sgte will get you to similar numbers with lower cost since you already have turbo installation - you just need to increase boost(possibly by also changing turbocharger) and doing remap. for bigger numbers you should overhaul these units with better stuff and there is really no limit to how much you can pay. For 3sgte for example great way is 2,2 stroker kit.

in this price range and with these constraints - 3sge N/A - best would be beams blacktop if you manage to get one. with bigger budget 3sgte or 4agze they giive nice power stock and lots of more when properly modified.

two years ago I was thinking of mounting wide steel rims on rolla. I resigned when I saw the effect (did not like it + such rims are really really heavy). I have not post pics of this try out here however so here we go. The rims where 15x9 et0

allrighty first snow today so rolla is grounded for next couple of months. I have some interior and body changes coming but untill that I have some old materialsI have not shared yet so perhaps now is the time ;-) This is my friends vid from one 4age fans meeting last year in which I participated - it was time when twincharge system was in beta stage and this track day was sort of testing ground :-) I like the vid though.

it is sweet idea but it will cost a lot - no way around it. Engine with such torque would require better brakes, enforcing the chassis, proper gearbox and rear axle and so on. There are so many more costs than just the engine and putting it under bonnet.

i use genuine toyota 4agze head gasket (not sure actually if its any different than N/A ge gasket) i had an opportunity and got myself backup engine - 91gze with bigport head on it. was used in 86 in turbo setup outputting 260hp - the owner decided to switch to 3uz so i reached for it.

well yeah but you know then I would have to get rid of the "supercharcharged" cover which I like + the original vents I am not sure are just efficient enough. Double oil caps are however very tempting ;-)

one thing that is remaining to do is to increase engine vent. with 1.2b max boost I noticed after this season that my oil pan is sweating oil on seals after some harder riding. I have put fresh seal at the beginning of this year so my conclusion is that engine cannot vent itself efficiently enough and what I'm gonna do this year or at the beginning of next - I will bore existing vent and add another to second cam cover moreless like on this photo below. It does the job in cosworth escort so should also do the job here. How is the technical name for it in english? Is it crankcase breather vent?

glad you like it :-) B.L.Z.BUB piggy backing is good when you play with just increasing boost in gze to handle more fuel adjustments and this 5500 problem. With havier mods I think it will not do. twin supercharger - I do not know ;-) - its double the heat and double the parasitic drag on 1.6 engine. Maybe you would get boost but air would be so hot that I do not think knocking could be avoided. The idea just feels somehow wrong :-)
