i have recently did weight my friends ae92 with blacktop in it. without spare wheel and backseats, 1/2 tank it showed 960kgs so I think really really good.
win win indeed. I like the way you go man.
nah the chassis and suspension are different and do not really share common parts. Engine and its hardware is mostly shared between those two (e9 may have newer gen of 4age).
i am actually having thoughts on buying some e9 for track fun - just like you did i guess. If anything happens to e8 - getting the parts is so much harder and e9 weights not much more and still has this corolla spirit.
weighted the car with current setup:
stock twinky is about 40kg less (due agze and transmission weight differences mostly)
987kgs, weight to power ratio = 4,2 :-)
yes I will :-) all I can see is just text so far :-) cmon people
I have three of my own. All same car. More or less same weight.
Ae82 4age - 125ps
Ae82 4agze - 183ps
Ae82 4agzte - 231ps
There is a variety of setups on this forum and I am sure many of you guys have some nice vids of how your car accelerates - gauges vids or outside car vids. If you do -> show it here.. this could get interesting :-)
Except for show-off factor :-) this would also be a point of reference of what you can expect from some different setups.
good match. I heard that when you use these colored nuts - the paint goes off after few uses or at least you have to be super easy on them (no bolting on with pneumatic pistol). That true? There are definately nice looking thing.
what is this red thingy on your grill (track pics). Is it camera? Got some vids?
These bbs are great but I guess would be pity to use them on track days. Anyway if you put some wider flares there these would look great! Do you have model name and specs of these rims you were trying on?
