  1. Go hipster or go home
  2. You just described my idea of a perfect date
  3. Not even a sneaky reacharound for my trouble
  4. Anyone who says that, hasn't owned one. More to the point, doesn't deserve one :)
  5. Wanna know something Ironic... That mis-tinted 'excavator orange' is closer to 'space crew' orange anyway, so it matches the wheels perfectly :)
  6. Completely forgot about this. Ended up swapping it for 200 bucks, a bottle of single malt scotch, and a full window tint credit. No fishtank.
  7. You forget... Most Americans are unaware that there are some places in the world that aren't actually in America.
  8. Doesn't look too bad at all. I've fixed far, far worse :P
  9. *ding* You win a coconut
  10. Now THAT'S a freakin' water pump, right there.
  11. Brilliant. Bowl of petunias on the other arm?
  12. Yeeewwwww
  13. I did some work on a really, REALLY abused example recently. One of the 'brochure delivery' hacks at my old man's business. This thing is punished mercilessly by all manner of hopeless female pilots, touch parked, filled with hundreds of KG of shiny literature, and generally just flogged. Currently has 460k on the odo and ticks along fine, blows no smoke, grinds no gears. Only ever had regular servicing, one clutch (100k ago) a pair of cv's, and the usual wear items like pads and rotors. All the girls whinge about it, saying it should be upgraded... Old man says "Fine... I'll replace it when the aircon dies" Its a Corolla. The aircon will never die. /Trolldad
  14. I know that feel
  15. I had one, AE112R Conquest in the same blue. Nicest of the AE's to drive in my humblest of opinions... Better build quality/materials too, other than some sections of the interior plastic which tend to go crumbly for some reason.... Like the door sill trims and seat mechanism covers. Fixed mine up with a heat gun and a lick o' vinyl paint. Keep the paint properly sealed, All Toyotas of this vintage have issues with the clearcoat oxidising.
  16. If I do, I haven't touched it in years :P
  17. Sitting peacefully in the carport, waiting for the new idler pulley to rock up.... Its bad having it just sit there... Every time I walk outside and see it, I think of other things I need/don't need but sort of want.... Like alloy radiators... and silicone rad hoses... ching ching
  18. If you put it in the right place :P
  19. You'd actually be quite surprised just how many chunks of metal it takes to corpse someone up.
  20. When I did my basic for reserves I was told (in a roundabout sortof not on the record way) that our basic infantry is equipped to wound/disable rather than outright pillage and plunder. That's what the yanks are there for. Oh and our SAS... But they have rather heavier duty gear.
  21. Steyr isn't a 'kill' rifle. The M4/M16A2 is. SAS don't ʞ©$ɟ around.
  22. Yes. You might need to use the AE94 seat rails though, there are some differences in the floorpan between the two.
  23. That withered corpse is sporting a rather ornate coffin
  24. grumble grumble etc
