  1. Please tell me there's a primary muffler and resonator further up the system that I can't see in the pics, or I will be forced to post a facepalm picture in your thread. You'll probably find the cannon and dumpy tip are to blame... Dumpies stop exhaust noise travelling as far (outside the car) but have the exact opposite effect inside the cabin. Also, straight through cannons (like that one, which looks like one of the $90 Trademe ones) suck, do nothing, and on small engines act as self contained echo chambers.
  2. Where does the tailpipe actually exit?
  3. Scottish thrashmetal pirates with keytars. If there is a more awesome band in the world, I'd like to see it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99a6DaheLqs
  4. Dear lord. Would take me too long to type, and that's assuming I could remember them all. Easily over 100
  5. Offtopic, but I think this 740 is more your style sir
  6. This is giving me bad, bad ideas. :P I'm now going out the back to stare at the 740 wagon for a little while...
  7. You're not in the Volvo anymore... You can't scare the little cars :P
  8. Only a frunk, and its already got a wheel in it :)

  11. Hell... Yeah.
  12. Uncle Shady's tip for the day... To remove unsightly residue from bump strip adhesive, spray with WD40 and leave for a few minutes. Scrape off with a plastic blade. You're welcome. :)
  13. Dodgy phone pics don't convey the shinyness :) Interior looks like new. Fully detailed, polished, roadworthy and comprehensively serviced with genuine Toyota parts. Was delivered to its new owner half an hour ago. He was happy as he paid less than redbook value for it, and I made enough to either not work for a few weeks, or inject some funds into one of the project cars. Smiles all round. Next... :)
  14. Its on the build plate :) Two letter code.
  15. Fulleh sik flat black with backyard flared guards in primer omgwtfbbq hektic 4ac drift styles
  16. Ah yes, this thread. I took a deposit on it today... I will snap a few piccies in daylight before I hand the keys to the new (very pleased) owner...
  17. Not likely... If Heaven is anything like Queensland ( and it would be :) ) it will be staffed entirely by Filipino imports on work visas.
  18. Pffft The Catholic church has had this racket going for 2000-odd years, just with different packaging.
  19. I like AE92s. Simple, reliable, easy to drive. Very little goes wrong with them... And even when it does, parts are crazy cheap. I have a couple stashed out the back should I ever require something I can chuck on the road at short notice for a daily.
  20. Back in ye olden days I knew a guy who (like me) was running a caged TA22, except his was lightened by way of a holesaw. This is fine, except he probably should have done a spot of seam welding beforehand. Over the course of several events, the shell basically divided itself by zero and imploded :)
  21. Take the dead hookers out of the boot
  22. Nice one. My Brother has a Shadow Classic. I have a Triumph Speedmaster with aftermarket pipes. Loud but not too loud, and doesn't have that horrible obnoxious cackle like a Harley. Smooooove. :)
  23. She's enjoying her time in the tropics with her fellow retirees... She's just having a week off to relax before we shove a whole heap of new bits in her next week :P
  24. I have 2x 240 wagons, 1x 240 sedan, and a 740 twincam wagon. I don't have/want kids, and I couldn't care less about safety... Although the gigantic alloy reinforced bumpers are good for shunting the non-running cars around the yard. I've also been eyeing off some SAABs lately, and have a hankerin' for fondue. I think either I have a brain malfunction or I've caught a nasty Swedish virus.
