would the solenoid on the starter motor be done? i know it would prob be getting heaps hot because i have a air leak at the zorst flange right above it, which is getting fixed wednesday.

hmm ok well, after driving the car fine for the last week or so, the only issue i really had was it would turn over but not fire, after about a minute of trying it would fire up though. well today when i went to start it i got nothing... it slowly cranked over, but sounded really bad. then it just stopped. all electricals work, all fuses are fine. but the starter motor wont make a sound. now before this happened if i used a test lamp and had it on the + side of the coil it gave a very dull light. but now it gives a bright one just like if i put it on the + side of the battery. now am i in need of a new starter? is it not drawing any power at all? the exhaust is getting done on wednesday so i need to get this old girl moving.

same sussy as mitchs though a short stroke rear shock will be used to it wont bottom out, i refuse to drive more then 1 person any way, hate having backseaters.

need a new rear bumper as i have a ding in it. that and it looks like there was once a tow bar. ignore the boot rubber, theres a fresh one in the shed i need to put on. boss monoblock amp is surprisingly good. got a jbl 12inch in ported box that will sit in there.

hmmm still having a whack issue with my temp sensor. it pretty much will start at hot when i go into ignition then after maybe 5 minutes of driving it will crawl back to cold and just sit there, not moving anywhere... in other news, havent done all to much to the car, put down all my amp/sub/radio/speaker wiring. cut a board to fit the boot and tacked a nice tarten rug to it. amp is mounted to the board that covers the fuel tank, all i gotta do is mount my sub and get a pioneer plug/loom to go into the back of the headunit. washed the car today and when an took some photos of my mango peanut haha

yeah i know that, just don't think my car would be running under cold while the system feels extremely hot and the coolant was fairly warm. hmm. yeah that was me luke. been giving my neighbours the shits i reckon haha sitting there revving it :P

mmm just took her for a quick spin round the block. its a quick lil 4k, especially seeing as the zorst is half off. :P think i may have a dodgy temp sensor, as it was at H for ages, so i let the car idle for a while with the cap off and it went down, but now it stays at under COLD. like after my little drive it still stays under C but the radiator and pipes and everything are really hot. is there a way to test?

hmm would rather a genuine one, as the supercheap ones looks cheap... lol shit yes cruise/pics... in love with his dat 1000 haha all i have to do is get the exhaust fixed and the car will be roadworthy!!! cannot wait. :D

mmm, removed the water pump today, doesnt seem to be any play in the bearings, the gasket looked pretty haggard though, so i'm guessing that was why it was leaking, so thats kinda a relief. also if anyone has a drivers side mirror (mirror and arm) that they wanna sell let me know, need one asap.

AND SHE'S RUNNING!! when i replaced the fuel line with my own i musta f@$ked around something in the carby because the spring was gone that controlled the float. so the carby was getting filled with petrol every time i tried to start and had no hope of firing. i replaced the carby with some crappy looking one i picked up from the wreckers and it now runs. looking at getting a better one as this one looks very haggard. things to do now; dad reckons i may need a new waterpump as coolant leak from there pretty steadily. need to get the exhaust fixed as its running from straight behind the cat. venitians in. visor on. clean. . . . cruise :lol:

can you easily get these springs or is it a once off? i'm keen on some for a ke20 in a couple of weeks.
