Just started to read this thread, yes, I'd be glad to do this. I would expect to be able to dictate, say at least the time of day the shoot would be (not two hours either side of midday, late afternoon or early morning-ish would be best). I have some leave time racked up, so wouldn't mind using it. If I could have an idea about the location, that would also be grouse. A variety of settings would be good. Dwarf would probably look most at home somewhere vegetative (and I don't mean our living room ). Fook's car I can imagine it somewhere industrial. Can we come up with 12 different locations for 12 different cars? If anyone can convince wenches to partake in this endeavour, that would be great also. We could do wenched and wenchless version. Who knows wenches who are willing (and maybe wet (What is this? Fast Fours or something?? I get distracted...anyway)) Ooh, and don't expect to get all the cars done in the same day either, depending on light/ locations. We should start thinking about this early if we want to get one ready for 2k5. (Maybe mods could fork this into a new thread?)

Is the BBQ only going to be before or after the ride? The way Fook drove up and down Mt. Neebo, anything I ingest will have a hard time staying in.
-
I look soo.... round! I do have a few of people smoking tyres, but I wasnt' able to get in a good position to shoot any three-wheeling.

You asked for it, you got it! Here is a rollaclub-exclusive high-resolution sneak preview from yesterday's take. Stay tuned for more.

Yes, they were indeed taking part in the production of a green screen movie. Here's a preview. (Sorry, Rob, had to keep myself amused while photos download)

You can hotlink to freeshell.org, so you can pop the images in direct. Just no guaranteee how long they'll stay there for. Here's another classic.

Why did you think google was so smart? If it doesn't know anything, it posts on a forum, just like we do.

Funny you should bring this up. I was going to start a redwarf fanclub photo thread, but for some off reason, the board still won't allow me to attach jpegs. For those interested, more from that debacle at the bottom of wyldephyre's pat kennedy coverage album. Postscript: This one did get a few oohs and aahs from work, where I have a selection of my work set as a screensaver, shameless that I am

Hi, all. Seeing as how Fook's really busy this month, I'm out a driver, and would like to take another stab at the night run. There's one on, what? The 20th of this month? So if you would like to have a go at this, and need a nav, please let me know. I have a CAMS license, you wouldn't need one. All I ask is to be picked up from either KG or city, and dropped off at home in Kelvin Grove afterwards (Don't have a car... yet). Noobs welcome. Word of caution, though, we've done 2 or 3 nav runs, and have yet to finish, although every time, we did get progressively closer. If you're interested, post, PM or email haikal at freeshell dot org. Cheers.

I think I see some WMD's near turn 6.

Me? (<shameless  /> ) Seeing as I am crap behind the wheel, I wouldn't mind shooting go karts for once. It'd have to be in good light, though, like maybe mid morning or mid afternoon. I don't have any gear that can do motorsport at night.
-
As usual, I'm interested in coming along to take pictures.
-
Is that Subaru shot from the WRC at Turkey? I remember seeing that on the telly a few weeks ago, half the cars were coming in looking like that.

Don't know about maps, but I quite enjoy plotting...it's like a brainteaser, which I enjoy, me being the intellectual type that I am :) As for liking driving, well, given that I've only driven go karts, and have clocked less 5 hours at the helm of a real car (of which 4 were dual-control), I can't say I have enough driving experience to decide whether or or not I enjoy. FWIW, I do enjoy my time on the go-karts, even though so far I've always come first from the bottom. Not only that, but the whole two people working as one to accomplish a goal is a great feeling as well. It's been more so evident on the night runs, where 'events' are close to each other. There were some stretches of QC where we were driving for about 10-15k's with nothing happening, and in the second-to last nav run, I actually had to struggle to stay awake for two of those streches. (Lunch + hot car + motion = sleepy haikal... just ask Fook... I'm generally good for a few hours in a car before I start dozing off)

Copy and paste from my Joural entry on DA (Read by none motorsports people, which is why some things are explained):

They can be a bit slack, CAMS. I got mine the day my temp. one was expiring.
-
I'm interested in going, to take pictures more than anything else (as usual).
-
Bleh, I have a photo shop action that does it, and it was designed for a bigger image...

I'm a bit late for this party, but Fook showed me those photos from RQ yesterday, so I need to post something to balance the coolness: (Note sign towards top left corner :) ) Oh, and Hi, all, btw.
