Awesome! On average how much do you pick them up for? Are they complete? How many KE35 and 36's do you come accross?

I mentally cannot handle seeing a crushed KE on the back of truck as I saw about 3 the other day along with fords and holdens etc... The KE's still have radiators etc in them, I search hi and low for parts and to see this brings a tear (nearly) I'm even finding I'm typing harder from anger as I type thisssssssssss

I like you idea! How about. Door handles that detect who you are, and if your installed in the computer then it unlocks the doors, then adjusts your seat, turns the lights on (at night), welcomes you (saying your name) then starts the car (available with automatic only) all this in a KE70. That would be good. *In a soft toned half sexy voice*(whilst the seat is adjusting and engine is starting) Good evening Mr ******, the time is 7:46pm, there will be light winds predicted tonight with a possible shower in the evening, you 3 text and 1 voice message - would you like to hear (stops for your reply), have a safe trip*** LOL

I have a 81 KE55 rally car and ran over stick stopping the clock at over 420'000 its unreal, I have to get a pict and post. I don't kill it, just have fun in dirt, no roof past front doors, converted like a ute, no exhaust Keeps going!

Tha wag when I'd finished, got rid of the 6x9's and went for 2 x 6" in the front doors. Installed a computer fan and neons then carpeted it. Small amp, but works well with a Pioneer head unit. Just put tha car in a shipping container keeping it dry for tha next few years......

On the interia of my brown KE its painted silver all through - everything that could be removed including the rear and outside the car.

Thanks for the correctomondo on the wheels. Their jellybeans with deep dish. Will clean them up very soon. Fuel was 70c / L when these were last clean!

Here is my latest rolla to my collection. 81 KE55 4K with 5 speed and just registered it. Got 4 new tyres, put a sound system in it, and brand new carpet just last weekend, put all the granny spec stuff like seat covers and steering wheel cover, put a KE20 carby on it with mechanical secondry and no vaccuum hoses except the dizzy one. Painted the rocker cover as you can see and put an air filter on it. It has deep dish rims that I just started polishing as u can see. Drives perfect, really light in the steering and with the old carby has good power for what it is. Ripped out the factory tape player and put a pioneer one, am rigging up the amp and sub now. The carpet matches the seat covers so it looks good, as well as the tacco and mechanical temp gague. Came with a full tank of premium and recentially serviced. Paint isnt the best and theres a couple rust spots in usual places. What do you think? Also posted a pict of my KE70 we call GOMEZ. Did the usual paint stuff to it put some 14's on it an shined them up, has a 4Y intake on it, goes really well.... I like it when you hit 4000rpm and the old skool tacco light comes on beeh! :-) AND.... my AE93 Seca SX. Just an engine shot......

Nice car! I bought my Wag for $1200 off a couple kiwis a couple and a bit years ago. Since then I havent stopped with it.... Full XX options, AirCon, 5 speed, remote central locking, VN commodore radiator, sub on false floor, amp, air horns, unleaded head, bearings, seals their great!

Ha Ha, I got if off 2 kiwi's who bought it in QLD and had work done to pass rego. They even had to install a new window washer bottle (genuine - beeh!) and had new shocks on tha back put on and 2 x retreads put on. (not allowed retreads in N.T) then drove it ova stock. Only had 4 speed and no A.C. doin 130km screamin! I only do 110 with 5 speed. Since then I went wild on it having heaps done to it - friends help alot. The VN radiator works well. The wires under the bonnet are unreal. And the wires under the carpet for the door locks and sub are just as bad. No suspension upgrades planned. Just a cruse arounder!

Correct, expecially on the front grill of the old KE30 range. My Ke35 has the flower type on the front.

Thought I'd post my Wag, its a: 1983 KE 70 Wagon 4K-C with: Unleaded Head & stainless steel valves, New Starter, New Leads, Points, Plugs, Condensers and top end kit through it including front engine seal. Brand new Asian carby. New rear brake shoes and wheel bearings. VN Commodore Radiator, New 13" thermo and thermitic switch. Air Con. 5 Speed. Remote Central all doors. Air Horns via switch that allows factory ones to work as well 13" Jelly Beans with Spare. All the XX model options (taco dash etc..) Pioneer Headunit and custom floor in back with neons and computer fan. Autotecnicia Wheel & Cannon. Full Tint. Factory Metalic paint 90% condition. Only done 170'000kms Even has a tow ball!

Hey man, I get my Ke70 wag sideways and its only stokko! The just havent got it in the dry with drifting.

Oh, and just to add to it - I gave a lady a P4 1.7Ghz computer for mine! And got the ae93 with 3 month rego left on it.

They, I have a 1990 AE93 SX just like yours, they are the best, not the CSI models without the spoiler hey! Man, the best cars of the day and a really popular taxi for the early 90's. My gearbox selector for 3rd has gone and its a pain, had a lady driver all its life up up 2004. The motors done 255000kms, and neva had the timing belt done, i had it done at 250000 - hows that 150'000 ova! The suspension in mine has gone all round and quotes are xpensive so I'm a little worried there. I put sub, amp, dvd player and screen in and autotencia seats so takes my mind off the problem's it has a bit!! Keep us updated on this - cheers.
