Sounds like us "peninsula pussies" missed out on a sweet cruise. Spewin. (insert excuses here) My little, loud buzz box has got major overheating probs at the mo and I'm doin me head in on how to solve it. I missed out on a radiator on ebay cause I was too pre-occupied with other tasks eg. fixin the destruction from my 11 month old dog and getting the VB on the road so I can do something with the corolla. Oh and last but not least...... I'm a pussie LB :D

Take it from me guys. I have a AE82 twinky seca with kings super lows and standard shockies, and it handles like a piece of sh*t. I'm definitely looking into good shockies and sway bars to match the springs. After that it should corner like it's on rails. If your down the Frankston/ Morninton peninsula way, Pedders Frankston is definitely a good place to go.

I know how that feels mate :bash: I've had my car in the garage for quite a while now (nearly 2 years since I last drove it), and in the 8 years of owning it, I've driven it no more than 1000k's. Most of those k's on Sandown race track. All my mates keep given me hell about it but I suppose perfection takes time. Thats what I keep telling myself. Don't stress mate. welcome garth. All I can say is that your one very lucky person to own 2 cars that are nearly identical to what I have owned before. The KE20 is exactly the same but I had a blue KE17 not a red KE15. I've got a 308 V8 thats running approx. 11.2- 11.3 :1 comp. and I use BP ultimate 98 and haven't had any pinging yet so I think you should be right.
