  1. Ok. my brother bought a 3K-B twin carby manifold off of these forums but it didnt come with any carbys and the linkages that came with them suck ass. Now i have used the search function on here but i havent had any luck and I'm not having any luck finding any photo's. Any information or pictures that you have of your setup would be greatly appreciated. What carbys are you using? What filters are you using and is it hard to get a stock filter assembly? How did you do your linkages Cheers Matthew
  2. i valve bounced my stock 3k powerd ke35 when i accidentall knocked it into N
  3. to remove my emulsion tubes i used a small allen key (one that will fit down the hole) and you should be able to pop them out. shouldnt be that hard. just push on them sideways and lift up.
  4. i got hurricane extractors from midas on brighton road for 250 but you can get them cheaper from aussie discount brakes and mufflers on the corner of port road and south road. i got an electronic dizzy from city dismantlers for 120. the cheapest place in adelaide and you get a warrnty. i rang every wrecker in adelaide to find one. not that common. where did you get that quote for the 7k efi setup? I'm interested in getting that setup for my brothers ke70.
  5. the jets that you have in the carby should be ok. i have a stock 4k with extractors and a full 2 inch exhast and the jets i run are... 3.5 venturi in primary 4.0 in secondary 160 air correction jet in primary (the top ones) 170 in secondary 140 in bothe the main jets i can't remeber what idle jets I'm running but i know that i went through heaps to get it right. the bigger the air corrector jets that you go in the secondarys the more of a flat spot then a kick you will get when you get the secondarys opening up. i ran 160 air correctors in both with 140 primary and a 135 secodary main jets for a while which was very smooth power but wouldnt rev. i also use f66 emulsion tubes in both. i found that the f50 and f60 are to hard to tune and you need to be spot on with the jet sizes. what you have in the carby now is allready bigger than a stock 2l cortina has. hope that helps you out.
  6. i just fitted a 32/36 DGAV Webber to my 4k powered KE55. car went like a peice of shit until i had it re-jetted to suit the motor. removed all of the polution stuff and connected the carbon canister to the base plate on the manifold. just had a full exhaust system fitted (extractors full 2 inch system) an now it needs rejeting again. if youre going to do an exhaust do it first before getting the carby jetted. save money. the webber is the best mod i have done to the car. alot more bottom end torque with slightly more top end. very easy to fit. took about an hour to do.
