dash is out being resprayed in charcoal vinyl dye,new wheels and tyres are on,and 84 model 4k hi cam motor motor is going in without all the masses of emmision crap thats on it, just what came with my 3k

its out of a early 70s celica and it is woodgrain

i think you sit just a touch higher and the side support is unbelivable they feel like recaros they wrap right around you

thats what i thought too thats why i pulled the black one out of my spare parts car before i got rid of it.

some new pics of my custom interior underway so far ive installed new carpet,r33 skyline seats,full length console,saas victor sports steering wheel,new floor mats and my stereo system,all in charcoal grey colour the console was resprayed in charcoal vinyl dye my future plans for my interior are a plain black/grey rear seatcover,retrimmed doortrims in charcoal material,custom mdf parcelshelf for my 6x9s,and a new probably ke55 dash done in charcoal also I'm trying to modernise my interior will post more pics as work progresses.

i agree the ba and up fords are top cars :hmm: maybe i should have said i wouldnt touch an x series ford again

you would be spot on there i owned an xf bloody thing did nothing but squeak and rattle and on the way home from buying it was already thinking about selling it it was sooo slow :hmm: instead i converted it to a t5 manual which made it alot better but still the noises drove me nuts so i sold it ,this was the first and last ford ill ever own

fords you can't stop the bloody things from squeaking and rattling they say thats just what fords do i say theyre crap ive owned both fords and holdens, the holdens were far superior for build quality in my opinion but give me a rolla anyday over the both

I just came across this thread and thought id put my fastest car up its a 1993 model vr berlina fully optioned v6 auto looked stock but was far from it. modifications include 185 kw v6 worked cam heads etc sounded like an 8 built by speed pro in frankston t700 stage 2 shift kit corvette piston heavy duty convertor (done chirpys every time it hit 2nd gear 5 lt IRS LSD dba slotted disc rotors all round chiptorque chip and no rev limiter on car genie extractors and full 2 1/2'' mandrel bend exaust going into twin 3 1/2'' chrome dump tips cold air intake and k+n flat panel filter lowered lovells springs pioneer deh5850 headunit plus amp,sub,six by nines and six inch splits 17'' vt ss alloys (not in picture) all my mods were performance orientated and not for looks, it had 12 grand spent on the mechanicals 5 grand of that was just under the hood this car used to romp v8s and be able to fill a street full of smoke without trying but sadly was stolen about four months ago not long after (no insurance) and never recovered

i did a burnout one night sideways all the way up the road in my vr till i thought i saw a cop ,but they didnt pull me over so i thought they must'nt be it was so much fun i thought id go back around the block and do it again only to find out it was a cop i thought i was fu***d funny thing was the female cop let me off with a warning

hey nothing wrong with commodores ;) ive owned about 20 of them including a vb,vcv8,vhsle,vk,vl berlina,vl calais series 2,and a worked 93 vr berlina v6 with 185 kw dynoed 17'' vt ss rims,big stereo,amps etc ,stage 2 turbo 700 trans with shift kit hi stall convertor corvette piston,5lt irs lsd diff,slotted disc rotors,lowered,full electrics including climate control cruise etc,extractors,21/2 inch mandrel bend exaust, i spent around 12k on it only for it to get stolen about 4 months ago (no insurance) and not recovered i don't expect it to be found it will be cut up by now bloody scum carthieves :) but at the same time i had the commodore i also had a ke50 :lol: The spelling and punctuation fairy would like you to fix this post before you get in trouble!

hi all I'm trying to find out if a set of ke70 complete struts and brakes fit my ke 30 as they seem to have alot better brakes and ive got a set in good condition waiting to go in but don't want to pull my car apart only to find out they don't fit if they fit do i have to do any mods to fit them ;)

boot/fuel door release setup and p/s mirror definatly sold console possibly sold and it dosent have a tacho dash ;)
