after getting shafted on ebay with my new project i decided to pick up a parts car a 84 model corolla csx for running gear to go into my ke30 2 door yay ive got myself a hi cam 4k+ 4 speed manual should be vast improvement on my current 3k 2 speed auto with blown headgasket anyway ;) all leftover parts will be sold very very cheap make me an offer on what you want also is the funny looking electronic ignition box marked optospark 500 factory or aftermarket and is it worth using or are good old points better as ive never seen one of these before but then again ive never looked at ke70s before

is that a toyota hemi v8 in the corona? looks identical to one fitted to a friends gemini until now id only ever heard of or seen one of these motors

hi i need some wiring diagrams for my car and can't find any wiring diagrams for the ke 30 and ke 55 anywhere ive looked in the faq and at heaps of topics and i don't have a workshop manual :jamie: to go off so if you have some scanned in your computer could you please post the scans here :jamie:

na no problem my last car was a manual and it gave me the shits changing gears all the time i want to be lazy for a while and keep an auto besides i used to have a 80 model rolla auto and i thrashed the living daylights out of it and the auto never died no matter how bad id treat it

id take the z also front on the 2000 is a bit too funky for me

5k sounds alot better than my 3k id be happy with a 1.4 litre instead of my 1.2 as I'm not after a big power increase just make it a bit more spirited

$450 for an engineers certificate migt be worth putting in a bigger motor afterall i assumed it would cost alot more

parts ive so far got include vdo dayton cd mp3 headunit kenwood 6x9s dna 4'' 2 ways front factory corolla alloys charcoal plush pile carpet future plans include 4k and 3 speed auto instead of my 3k and 2 speed auto

blown headgasket as i found today but thats no problem theyre easy to fix and needs brakepads other than that and the front quarters i think its a top little car

i think I'm definatly getting confused thanks for pointing that out i thought a ke50 was the same shape as my ke30 2 door you learn something new everyday :)
