17th Feb might be a bit too soon for me to have my ke20 finished but 16th June it will be done and ready for all to see (but hopefully ill be at both)

other than the rust pictured there is some under the radiator support panel and a little bit in the sub frame that is an easy fix and that is about all there is so i will be replacing the entire lower radiator support panel and getting a couple of plates made up to go where the rust is in the sub frame (the rust will be completely cut out and rust converted and new metal welded in

and here is some more bits of rust that have been repaired (will get more pics of the repaired parts later)

well i have been a little busy with the 20 and i will let the pics do the talking

fiberglass always is hard to sand

fiberfill has fiberglass strands through it so it will be a slightly stronger than just normal "bog"

well i just sat down and read this thread and you certainly have had a couple of nice rolla's i just hope mine turns out half as good as the 10

thanks for the offer but ive got my eyes on a ke20 diff that has the stud pattern conversion already done on it it will save a bit of stuffing around rewelding perches

i have just aquired some parts for my 20 i got a drivers door and front and rear bumpers and i have my 4k and 5 speed and i also have a shed to work on it in now as well ok parts i know i will need are......... 1, motor, .................sorted 2, gearbox (4 or 5 speed at the moment),.............sorted 3, front and rear bumpers,.................sorted 4, ke55 struts and brakes (or some other brake/suspension/stud upgrade),............sorted 5, possibly drivers door,.........sorted 6, lights (and surrounds), 7, tail lights, 8, grill, 9, matching lock set (ignition, doors and boot), 10, front seats (possibly gti swift or similar), 11, all rubbers (doors, windows, boot, etc) 12, headlining, 13, dash pad, 14, molded carpet, 15, later model diff (matching the front stud pattern), 16, drivers front guard,

are you sure the fan isnt flexing into the radiator as that is what is sounds like

i hope you got front flares to match

so dougy you still havnt told me how much $$$ yet and will i need a big trailer or just the back of my wagon

although i am new to toowoomba (sort of ) let me know if you need a hand with the move as i am doing just the same at the moment (but i am moving from gympie ....sort of) Let me know when you move as i might have the trailer sorted for you (if you want to share the cost) ps is the zephyr an original rebuild or a modified rebuild (have info for you either way you go)

i disagree i think the polished look is better (but that is just the opinion of an alcohol affected person) either way it is a great looking rolla
