You do realise that the factory 2tg efi TPS is bascially a Throttle Body Switch (aka on/off) and not a Throttle Body Sensor which outputs a varying signal with opening/closing of the throttle body?
The 2TGEU TPS has 3 stages. Idle, normal, >60% throttle.
And as you press on the accelerator, little arms in the TPS close different circuits, idle if bottom 2 touch, normal if nothing touches, >60% if top 2 touch. It has a little track which a runner sits in to connect the different arms. Take the cover off one and have a look how it works, very basic.
A resistance sensor based one ie 4AGE, 3SGE, etc is different and measures the position of the throttle body plate in all possible movements from fully closed to fully opened but the ECU will need to be able to recognise this. The factory 2tgeu ecu is not designed to work with these type of TPS.
