  4. I'm pretty sure the compliance plates have to be in english since it would need to comply with aussie standards regardless of if it was an import of domestic

  7. i just got some seats from a gt4 and i am going through the crap to modify them to fit a t18. only problem is the rails are a part of the metal body for the seats on both sides so i have no idea on how to get them to fit. any help would be fantastic as i don't really want to have gt4 tops and t18 bottoms might look a bit odd not to mentoin the lack of comfort. cheers in advance
  8. that can't be a corolla its made by mercedes just look at the badge on the front. lol
  9. te72 uses a t50 gearbox however the clutch slave is on the drivers side unlike the common t50 with the clutch slave on the passenger side. ke70 came with a k50 gear box. you will need a t50 cross member for the new gearbox and also need to update the ke70 to hydraulic clutch. yes te72 came with 3t-c engine. don't know if it was an import but pretty sure it wasnt since it was released in aus as the t-18
  10. well so far things are going ahead of plan so ill play it by ear. worst case hopefully i can bring cash to pay for site i know i wont have a site so ill sleep in the car

  14. Well i went up to see the in laws for the chrissie break who live in the middle of no where. about 70 k's west of ceduna in SA. small mining town called penong. father in law is the head of maintance for a huge jiprock mine there and gets to work on some amazing machines. in his spare time he has taken an old subaru liberty statoin wagon and turned it into a dune buggy. so thought i would share some pics of myself and the family hooning around at the mine on the buggy and a trike. pics of the trike to come the last shot is after father in law went dukes of hazard style over a group of trees and got it bogged good and proper. then trying to tow it out with a landcruiser. unfortuanly the bull bar snapped on the buggy and the piece of metal went flying and hit the sister in law. day got called after that. about 100 k's plus from the nearest availible doctor

  18. get a multi meter or a test lamp. take out the brake light globe. get someone to press the brake and see if your getting 12v down the line. check your brake switch which should be mounted near the brake pedal and make sure its closing the ciurcut properly. you should be getting a constand 12 volts to the switch i believe. get multi meter and check you have a connectoin from the brake switch to the brake light. also check to make sure that the brake switch hasnt tightened itself into its little mount to the point it never opens. i can almost garentee this will sort out the problem for you.
