Damn you all. I only just got to 25% completed today, and I haven't got that car yet, and it's all Rollaclub's fault. Why? Because if I wasn't on Rollaclub so much, I would be doing more of my uni work on time. And if I got that done on time, I'd have more time to play GT4. Does anyone know if the 3S-GTE is all-alloy or iron block? If it's iron block, it'll obviously be heavier than the all-alloy SR20, but should handle FAR more power.

I still don't see why you're using the SR20. You can get a 3S-GTE engine pack (includes ECU & ancilliaries) for $2450 (see here), and then you just hook it up to a Corona W50 transmission. Better than saying you've got a Toyota with a Nissan motor. And don't tell me there's not aftermarket/performance parts easily available for the 3S-GTE. Toyota powered by Toyota sounds way better than Toyota powered by Nissan.

Well, thanks for all your help guys. Due to cost I am going to replace my T50 with... another T50... for now. I realised that if I change to a W5*, I'll need to get a custom tailshaft. And if I've got to get a custom tailshaft, I may as well change the diff at the same time, instead of getting a second, shorter custom tailshaft further down the track. Later when I've got the money, I've decided I'll get a W57. I know that it doesn't have the steel sandwich plate, but I think I'll hardly need it for a 4AGZE. Thanks again everyone.
