yes it has been done many times. this is mine for example.

you can do the tail light swap but the bulb holders and wiring looms are in slightly different positions so u would need the entire headlight assembly INCLUDING the male end of the bulb holders (the loom side)

it really depends on what you are getting engineered as to how much they will charge you. for instance. a quick ring around from the list i recieved from the dpi after handing in a 'modification approval document', the going rate for a gze into ke70 conversion was around the 1500 dollar mark for a certificate saying it was all legit. thats not to factor in all the parts needed and what not to make it legit in the first place. i managed to get a guy to do it on the list for little over 1000 dollars. if ur serious send me a pm and i will pass on his details. but i suggest as mentioned above, that u notify the dpi of ur intent first, cos there might be a way around getting it engineered if u can. and make sure u do get the modification approval document in asap, cos they take ages to approve it. mine took 4 weeks. goodluck

na they aint, theyr the exact same size. just the silly length sigma arms increase track by a little too much haha. should swap them out for xt130 lca's.

its been done alot of times and it looks shit imo. if u can't afford the real thing its not really worth hacking up bits and pieces to finish it up and have it looking only 'ok'. do it once do it right.

i just went through the process of engineering my ke70 with a 4agze in it. all was legit and well done though. things that were sussed out mostly were the following braking performance difference in tare weight emissions strength and quality of engine mounts suitability of exhaust " " transmission size and offset of wheels + tyres leaks of any kind new bushes all round basically everything on the car actually working (and i mean everything) your best bet is to keep everything standard or as close to standard as possible. keep receipts if u choose to get people to do your work for you. OEM parts that are interchangeable/suit your current setup is the way to go. no fancy aftermarket anything really. all up it costed me about $1800 for the entire process and approximately 3-4 months of smegging around waiting for approval in principle's, approvals, certificates, more approvals and all sorts of other smeg. thats NOT including parts or anything else needed to comply with the requests and/or requirements. its alot of dicking around. but in my case, i think its worth it to be able to say iv been through the process now and everything on my car is legit...kinda. its a good feeling being able to drive around and NOT have to worry about cops pulling u over and sussing out ur car. but each to their own i guess. I'm happy with my result.

the front is a perfect fit but the rear requires bracket modification. they do look alot tougher. like this for instance
