depends on whether you stretch tyres on rims or run a proper fitment tyre best bet is to bolt em on with your choice of tyres and have a look

if your in brisbane call slydar (dimitri ) he can modify xt130 or ra 40 to coilover for around $1000 with new springs in your choice of spring rate , and new steel collars and retainers and new adjustable strut inserts etc highly recommended his number is 0449169185 he did these for my Cressida mx83 i used to own

i've done 16 x8's with a 205/50/16 looked ok..

17's can be done... but looks like a rollaskate

i don't roll them i beat them out to a larger size to accomodate wider wheel and tyre packages you will need to bog and repaint afterwards ( very small amount of bog though) if you only need a roll then i would go to them ......
