  1. Thanks so much for the compliments guys ^_^. Hahahaha I was hoping you wouldn't catch that because everyone else did here in USA lol. She does moan alright, only with me though ;)
  2. Technotoytuning suspension parts are good. Many of toyota classic guys here in USA uses them with almost all their rides. All their parts are based on AE86 components basically. There's a better brand that sells in japan but those are hard to get, I forgot the name brand lol.
  3. you would need a te72 80-83 toyota corolla X-member from here (USA) or from japan mate. the mounts, you could use any 2t/3t mounts. try toyota3tc.com and start looking for them
  4. my hood arrived few days back surprised . compared to the OEM hood, this Cf hood weights like a paper. i feel the difference in speed and reaction by reducing some pounds off of her. very expensive but very worth getting
  5. thanks mate ^_^. I live the RA25 as well as the TA22 so therefore i decided to get a coupe that has a ra25 front end :( . Yes, the video that your talking about is my celica, heres the link . the headlights, you can get them in ebay but only sells in blue, japan sells the white and blue as matching headlights.
  6. ok heres another small little nick nack i have been workin on... LED TAIL LIGHTS  this is how the stock light bulbs looks like with the tail lights this is my LED light fitted to my tail light housing this is how it looks with my brand new bubble tail light lense this is how it looks installed with my old lense for now more LED lights will come up soon that are still working on pregress.....
  7. thanks guys :S . the racing jacket is an authentic TRD and the TransAm kit is a 2nd degree copy of the original one, both is from japan and got them imported. the racing jacket alone cost me 1200 USD and the kit cost me $850, very expensive parts which hurts my pocket :) according to my research because I'm a JDM junkie fan lol, theres 4 types of racing jacket for celicas and 4 types of body kit for celicas. heres my other racing jacket type 2 that i have for her, its made for turbo for air dan forced induction....
  8. Thanks for the compliments guys ^_^. The transam kit will be painted the same color with my car later on with matching purple color all around.
  9. 2tg might be an old technology but if built right, it can out beat an newer motor. emission law sucks butt period.... glad we get away over here in usa california if a car is 75 or under :poke:
  10. yes you can put a 2tg head over the 2tc block. i think it will require you to have the 2tg piston though cause i think they are different betweehn the 2tc and the 2tg. also, you will require to turn the last 2 bearing to where the 2tc cam used to be in the block for oil presure purposes. just look for a 3tc block to make it a 1800cc motor which you wont be disappointed.
  11. well, the newest edition that i have bought for her is some little nick nack light lenses. i think these are cool to have because amber isnt kickin with the future color paint job she will get. i tried the green one and it does look so cool, it goes with my color at night. the amber will go to the ra25. heres a 79 toyota supra rear axle. it should handle all the power that I'm going for with my celica. I'm gonna have to narrow it which will cost lots and lots of money to do it and the brackets will also be needing to be welded to proper place for fitting. Heres a sneak peek of my new set of wheels arriving really soon, they are SSR Long Champs like the ones i already have on Naomi, the specs on these rims are (2x) 14x8 -15 offset and (2) 14x9 -25 offset. I was told that they look very good with the TransAm Kit and will perform superbly with the performance I'm going for as a speed demon with these wheels on. once i get these wheels, i am ready to take the supra rear end, my car, and these rims to a shop to get it worked on proffesionally.... but i know i will lag on it biggrin .
  12. I currently have a 3tc 18L lower block that i soon will work with after completing my racing 2tg head. as of now, this block is just a sitting duck, if i am able to find a 3tgte lower block, that will replace this. i have a HKS top mount turbo exhuast manifold with an internal waste gate, combined with a t3 turbo. but i recently have changed my mind by replacing that HKS turbo exhaust manifold to this Headers type, top mount turbo exhaust manifold with a 3T turbo flange and an external waste gate. This is how i am expecting my Naomi's engine bay to look like after with all my build except with my motor having an ITB's and a turbo box. as for my body mods, i have bought Naomi a rare sexy transam kit and a super rare front clear racing jacket.
  13. hey, whats happenin folks ^_^. well, most of my write-ups with my project is on my other site. I'm just posting my old progress and sharing with you guys here. My TA22 was purchased in japan around august of 2006 and it arrived here in the U.S. december of 2006. i don't know weather i am the 2nd or 3rd owner of this ta22. the first owner was a old japanese guy and handed it over to his son, and his son sold it to me. My wife and I picked her up in Seattle, Wa and drove her home to San Francisco, Ca. The name Naomi for my TA22 was created by the majority of votes from the celica folks in classic-celica community. My Naomi is a TA22 S49 model type, so she has a rare combination body of a early coupe and has a sexy RA25 front end. She is originally equipped with a 2TG 1.6L DOHC motor from the factory with a factory set up of twin solex/mikuni side draft carbs. upon getting her, she already had headers with a straight 2 1/4 piping to a jdm jasma muffler modified from the previous owner. since Ive had Naomi, ive been a celica nut addict. I've been buying parts like crazy from day 1 till now. so far, i have purchased a complete 2TG EFI system long time ago because I'm not much of a fan of carbs due to my expection of performance. i have also acquired most of 2TG head performance parts for my soon to be Turbo charged 2TG motor. having a distibutor means more mechanical parts will be moving with the motor so i have decided to terminate that and replace it with an idividual coil pack system. brand new TRD spark plugs ( hope its the right one) Chromed out 2TG valve cover Complete NOS 2TG-I gasket set Thrust METAL 2TG head gasket Pair of NOS TRD 2TG turbo cams 272& 288 New Kameari 2TG long performace lifters New Kameari 2TG 10,000 RPM double springs TRD 2TG complete gear drive kit with 13 holes TRD cam gears Brand new stainless steel 2TG valves billet gas pump cover :poke: I am missing just a few more 2TG head racing component parts to complete the build before i will have the head bench flow port.
  14. Casanas Racing, this turbo exhaust manifold you make, this particular one.... ..... do you think this will fit into my celica's engine bay without problems?
  15. hey Radrollaz, how much clearance does your turbo when your hood is closed and how much clearance is the manifold to the strut tower frame wall in the picture below? could this be one of the reason when your motor is slanted? who made your turbo exhaust manifold?
  16. My pick would be a 2tgeu into your ride because since your car is a classic toyota, might as well put a classic sporty 2tg toyota motor in it. I'd pick 2TG anyday other than any motors out there that a toyota has to offer in the 4 cylinder family. 2TG parts aren't hard to find, I have proved that many people are wrong already because I have acquired most of the parts that most people claim to say "hard to find", I have such as brand new TRD racing cams, double springs, stainless steel valves, and so forth. The only thing that would be a slight challenge of finding is the cams because that is the most hot items for 2tg's. Everything else like the lower block parts are easy as a pie to get. USA sells lower block parts and japan sells cylinder head parts. I can help you in any way finding parts if you decide to go 2TG as your power transplant because I have connections. The 2tg will fit into your car but it will look cramped due to the head size. Once you have managed to intall that motor, your motor bay would look very sexy and make you proud.
  17. Since I've been a member here for few weeks now without a corolla, I have finally decided to buy one, so I'm a corolla guy once more. I just recently bought a 1976 SR5 TE37 ^_^ for $1000USD for me to have as a dialy commuter because I want to be driving with style hahaha. The smog pollution exemption here in california is only up to 1975 only, this really sucks but I think I can live with having a smog check every year. As of right now, the car runs with its stock 2TC motor and a 5 speed manual transmission. The main body is white color and clean with the exception of bad hood and a right fender. Interior needs work, so I might start buying parts from here soon. Don't have pix to post as of now but will post soon.
  18. You guys are very talented with those japanese classic toyota for making power.... I give thumbs up for you guys. Radrollaz, How much clearance do you have when you close your hood with that turbo? Is your motor slanted to have proper fitting? I love your set up ^_^. Toyota1515, How's my part turning out? Bumper is on the way!
  19. Wow, why would the heck would you wanna chance the w50 to t50? It is better tranny due to durability for high HP. How much would you want for the W bell housing by the way if you happen to change the tranny?
  20. Hey casanas racing, I like the set up you guys are using. I live in california USA and interested on a custom headers type top mount turbo exhaust manifold with an external waste gate. Who makes the turbo headers for you guys? Is it toyota1515? I have parts to exchange if you want ^_^.
  21. Just buy an ae86 front end suspension. Get the strut casing assembly... Try getting the spindles, the rotors, calipers, and brakes as well with the casing to make it complete. Do that swap and you'll find your self a little more ease finding parts for it ^_^.
  22. 3tgte is a good motor but I'd choose a 2tg/3t combo over it for many reason. The 2tg's has more upgrades available because it was the most popular motor back in the 70's and 80's in japan. There's TRD racing cams, double springs, bigger valves, efi, and so forth available, even till this day... There's parts for them unlike the 3tgte. Only good thing for the 3tgte is the lower block to be used and be mated with a 2tg, because that's what makes them a 1.8L stock. Although the 3tgte has 8 sparks (2 per cylinder) for better spark to the combustion, the 2tg can make as much as sparks for the combustion when they're upgraded. 3sgte is my second choice because it will produce more HP when internally built, but there's so much things to do for it to work properly as a rwd. Modification must be done to the motor bay, finding the right bell housing and the tranny to fit the bell housing, widening and cutting the floor board, and custom drive shaft. 3tgte is good but not the good ^_^
  23. What questions me is why would you wanna turbo a 2tc 1.6L vs a 3tc 1.8L? If you turbo a 2tc, you won't get much out of it because the crank only goes so much lenght, unlike the 3tc crank gives the full motion for the piston going top to bottom motion. Well anyways, go with 8.5 - 9.0CR piston for turbo for more boost capability. You can also go with your stock size 85mm piston or you can upgrade to 87mm or 89mm. I say 87mm is moderate size. if you go 89mm, your cylinder wall would be too thin and can can break when you have put too much boost due to so much pressure.
  24. There's upgrade for ae86's front strut suspension, not sure if te72's are the same type as ae86. You could buy big brake kits, do it your self coil over, and slotted rotors for em.
  25. Hmmm...... Well, going turbo isn't going to be a cheap build. A piston that has 8.5-9.0 CR is the best way to go for turbo. Stock or mild cam will do the trick because its going to be forced air induction. I don't know about 32/36 carb combo for it tho really, most people usually do it with efi or dual side carbs with closed box for turbo.
