Here's a few pics of the Jap-mobiles I spotted on Bay to Birdwood. Also spotted a yellow KE20 but didn't get a pic of it and 4 white KE10's that I didn't get pics of. None of them were Henry's, so there were at least 5 around the place. The other 4 weren't entered in the event though I'm pretty sure. Also...... I don't recall ever seeing an Opel GT in the metal before, let alone 3 of them in one place. Awesome cars! More pics to follow.

I have heaps of pics. Will try to get some up in the next few hours. It will be a bit of everything, not just Yota's or Jap-based. I love pretty much everything that was there, including the Russian made Volga that was in Concourse.

I never saw Henry's car for the whole day however I saw two RT40/43's so I assume one of them was yours Jordan. Most of the cars I've owned have never had seatbelts so I feel pretty safe without them. Except when some moron in a Commo thought he could turn in front of me as I was headed up North East Rd and I had to jump on the brakes a bit and my gf almost slammed the dash board. Perfectly safe :blush:

That is incredibly awesome! Love that it still has the "Wangaratta Motors" sticker. Unreal! Low, with walls, venetian and sunvisor may be done to death, but there is a reason.... cos it looks amazing and that shovel will look even amazinger and that's not even a real word. Too cool.

I spotted 4 white KE1*s. 3 were parked together near the end of the road at the beginning from West Beach turning onto Tapley's. Can't remember where the other one was. Don't know who any of them were either because I didn't have a chance to see rego plates. Too busy trying not to smack into any cars in front of me and also check out as many cars around me as possible.

You won't be able to get on the oval at West Beach. Those boys on the gate even get angry if they see a non-entered car drive past... start waving their arms at you to drive away quickly and get out the way. Not that I mind that because they have 1750 cars to deal with and in my opinion the running of this event is super professional. Been going in it for about 15 years now and love it. Nothing stopping you parking up somewhere and waiting for it to start though and then driving along in it. You won't get in at Birdwood either though. You will be turned away at the gate without your window permit.

Love it mate. In my opinion you've made the right choice between this and a 20. Mini's are too much fun!

Thanks, they are pretty rare now. I had a KE10, but I sold it a few months ago. I really love them. Wish I still had mine. Plus they don't take up too much room in the garage. :lolcry: Would like to see some interior and engine bay pics of yours. Good collection of NOS parts too. Also I would like you to send me those Watanabe's since you are not using them :wink:

Saw this for sale ages ago. Potentially even a couple years or more. Memory isn't too good. The only reasonable reason not to modify this is if it was original. That, it ain't. So I would like to see you hit it with some get-lows and dished rims as has already been suggested. Fender mirrors = yes please.
