HAHAHA yeh wouldnt swap her for anything. So far eaten 4 pairs of the missus shoes,my anti scatch work belt, 1 pair of electric hair clippers, 1 plastic garden chair, 1wooden dining table chair, don't even get me started on socks, aerial cable for TV and so much more.

would anyone be keen to play some pool at the empire pool lounge on west tce next to the maccas in the city ? i used to do this every monday night when i was in the "sa_cars" scene had 10-15 people turn up all the time. during the week ? ill check into some times once a little intrtest is shown

I might be jumping the gun a little but any ideas on next years format :y:. Ill be heading over to the ballarat swapmeet next year which is in Feb20 ish, will miss this years as i need some money saved up and a trailer. just a small edit its now 1:30am ish ran the tank dry coasting into the servo at 700 km exactly and the tank is 50 Litres so Teddy, Justin and redbook are all right so its 7.14L per 100km the last 200km was city/suburb driving so id say i can get about 850km range out of the sucker on the open road.

Just curious but what kinda car are you doing the reasearch for ? and what will it be used for rally,race,street ? Might be better off buying a whole car already done maybe ? As for diff an AE86 disc LSD would probably handle 150 rwkw after that id be looking at spending alot more money for strength such as a hilux lsd type diff. Id personally wouldnt mind messing about with a late 4afe but only if it were dirt cheap. Problem with the 4A family is you would be lucky to crack 280HP at the flywheel spending decent cash, NA of course. Then you would be looking at a turbo if you wanted to go beyond the 300HP then the strength and reliability of the 4A becomes questionable, maybe look into 3SGE for NA and SR20DET for turbo ? All depends on the 1st question i personally never see myself going 4AGE and being happy with the torque hence why i don't mind messing with dirt cheap engines as i don't think its worth the money. I might get laughed at for saying this but my 4AC in completely standard form still pushes through the hills no problems and have heard stories of other guys with 4AC's giving big port 4age's a run for their money. At the end of the day a 4A is just 1600cc and will only perform as much as your willing to open your wallet upto :y:

cut and reweld the inlet manifold, id model the repositioning on an early RWD 4age manifold. do the 20v style distributor conversion cut n shut. run coil packs and a aftermarket computer, unless you want to cut a hole in the fire wall so you can run complete setup without separting.

I have no idea, maybe i should look it up never put any more than 40 in it max i think i ran it dry once and still only took 40. redbook says its a 50l tank a little hard to believe

LOL hey update on fuel I'm guessing ive got 15km left in the tank out of the 650 now traveled its a 40L tank so its 6.1538L per 100km

what model is the diff ? anything a diff shop will do is probably going to cost you 200-300 minium in labour/diagnosing. also give boss engineering a call in lonsdale or precision differentials on port road, port adelaide. If its just a ke30 diff run down to the wreckers and rip the cover plate off the diff of your flavour and spin it a few times to check the condition of the teeth and then buy it might be about 60-80 dollars. I'm in the hunt for a 3.9 ish ratio diff will probably get the old diff guy at work to rebuild it for me

I agree its a little hot for some but i will still be coming along, like yourself always up for a cruise when i have the free time.
