Hi members just wondering what the history of rollaclub is, never seen an collective introduction of how it all got started and the key players.

All it needs now is a coin slot charging a dollar a ride and placed in a shopping mall

I like this discussion will be very interested in the out come. I found this a interesting read may not entirely suit a small capacity engine but the idea is still there. http://www.gzmotorsports.com/vacuum-pump-guide.html what setup from the factory do motor bikes run to sort there carb tunning isses and crankcase issues ? most hi powered bikes run an engine to the same or close capacity as an 3k/4k. the last product on this page might help http://www.et-performance.com/kv.html#METR..._&_CRUISERS and these guys are having a massive discussion about the same thing you guys are 1/2 read it very intersting http://www.gassavers.org/showthread.php?t=7233

Thanks Mel and Jarrad awesome trip great effort, Vess and I will scout the pubs for you guys next year see whats legit as we will be probably getting there an hour early like we did this year. Hey raven good to see you made it home safe. Tallied up the kms last night and checked my fuel consumption Total trip from filling the tank thursday night at the morphettvale mobil driving to the start of the freeway and then the whole trip via coming home doing the rest of the great ocean rd via portland,Mt gambier, beach port, robe, kingston, salt creek, meningie and down through wellington, strath, clarendon back home to morhpettvale 1775km. costing $180 in fuel total. Tried something out on the way home from warnambool where we filled the tank and next top up in mt gambier only used 12 litres of fuel Then with a full tank from Mt gambier to home we sat on 95km/h soaking up the sights and stopping and getting out in some awesome beach towns we managed to get 25-30L of fuel used for 493km, 8hours with 1 1/2 hours of stopping at beachport/robe/kingston to cheack out the beaches and lookouts. running a 4.11 diff at 95km/h at 3000rpm, will check the backyard might drop a 3.9 in it next year. Just an idea of costs for the SA guys who are thinking of doing this trip what we spent money wise $40 each on drinks and travel food each $180 fuel, $40 each camp fees, $20-30 each 1st night pub/resturant meal,2nd day lunch meal $15-20, stop at a coffeeshop $4-6 for coffee/iced,treetop walk $15 each, maccas on the way home $8 each. $340 for a single person doing the trip or. $250 for a single person with fuel shared. $500 for a couple food/fuel combined.

start ringing panel shops i used to deal with a few panel shops like complete crach on marion rd and western districts crash at the back of the airport might get a spray job for 700 ? depends on how much work like sanding back the panels so the paint can stick. there are some ideas in the projects thread areas of what other members have done to their rides to get ready for painting might ask them a few questions after having a read ?

At the local waste depot they will dispose of it for you legally. There are a couple of places like this on my area I'm sure there would be more i think there was near magil too when i helped clean out my grandads garage after he passed away. I think places like sprints or autopro might have sorta disposal happening too. Did a quick google http://www.prospect.sa.gov.au/site/page.cfm?u=1084

You could take a drive down to city dismantlers they have a massive range of wheels that suit yout stud pattern in the toyota, nissan, mitsubishi sections i bet they will let you try a few on. I have starion rims, ive seen sigma turbo rims 15's they look nice also sigma GSR rims 15's arent too bad what about nissan 280zx rims there are 2 types but i bet ull find them at citys if you ask not sure if the Z stuff is 15 but i reckon they would need to be for such a car. Bluebird TRX rims are 15's and have a mesh look but they are 5.5 inch wide but still look nice. Nissan skyline gts and silouette rims are different never seen em on a rolla or even early gts R32 skyline rims have a 4 stud pattern gts-t has 5 stud wont fit. also silvia rims of the early 4 stud variety. Most datsun wreckers have some tuff rims laying around, try nisswreck at wingfield. Google all the rims i mentioned and see what you think.

Yeh i got no problem with you myles yes your a little wet behind the ears but everything we say is just to help you in the right direction But some others may already have made their mind up with i don't think it is a good car club spirit. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance if you decide to make a 2nd go then maybe some of the heat you get from the moderators might drop off abit ? altho i think personally it was all over the top and you were made an example of ;) so come to the cruise enjoy the rollas around you and have a good time just my 2 cents
