  1. I get you Si, On rollcages there a little lower than the parcel shelf usually? You would also most likely take the backseats out for track days too. Where on the parcel shelf would you anchor it, and I think i know what you mean by the latches, a car on ae86dc uses them i think, the army green ae86 built in 2 weeks by buddy parts? And yes sure there for sale, ill chuck them in the washing machine and pm you with a picture and pricing this weekend, send me a pm this weekend sometime to remind me though :bash: Cheers. Travis.
  2. Pics of cam gear cover, didnt bolt it on, And it has a scratch!!! :bash: I think it might have been from shipping or sometihng cause i noticed it before I put it on :P o well nothing I can do about it.... Pics: Cheers. Travis.
  3. Oooo ooo wheres that flame war video at????? I also thought you meant local takumi drift wannabe commo driving kids ahahah I have a question though, if you were to get rid of normal seat belts and use ADR approved racing harnesses, where would you mount them? I know where you would mount them in a car with a rollcage but where would you mount them? Not that I want to put racing harnesses in my AE71 i don't need the race look, I am just curious. O and i have some rpm hanress's laying around somewhere...... But they don't suit the interior look i want. Cheers. Travis.
  4. But what if I scratch it!!! Fine ill go get one now, But if I scratch it its on your head!!! :bash: Travis.
  5. Sweet my rwd cam cover turned up today!!! I'm not going to fit it to the engine though, don't want to scratch it, i will wait till the engine is built before i fit it, BUT IT LOOKS AWESOME!! Thanks so much Matt. Cheers. Travis.
  6. First one is crazy offset :P The other two are perfect, but yea wow price 17500 for the fullset one and 750ish for the pair, ill have to save my dollars to get those. I will probably get some Mk II's to start with, like in that picture i drew in my sig :bash: Cheers. Travis.
  7. Yea ive only recently found yahoo japan, some cool wheels there!! the only what's i found were like a fwd styled offset, little to no dish at all... Cheers. Travis.
  8. dunno never looked at a 4afe, all i know is a 4ac has a six bolt crank, ask Sam Q. He's the man when it comes to these things :bash: Travis.
  9. I have heard of a rare 4age with a 6 bolt crank. BUT its mostlikely a bigport head on a 4ac, the 4ac bottom end will not be balenced at all be haevy and crap, will break if you try to rev it hard. Get a proper 4age bottom end and save yourself the trouble :bash: Cheers. Travis.
  10. Thanks Luke. $800 dollars isnt too bad at all. and do they look like real watanabes, because the 15's i had didnt, just looked similar, i definately want the ones on that blue ae86, like the specs, the look, everything. When wheel time comes i will be looking around for sure. Cheers. Travis.
  11. Ok i get it now :bash: I noticed the zero too but didnt want to say anything :P O the prefect world, ie where there is no wind resistance and everything is constant and equal  Travis
  12. Ive seen the ones Shakotan Garage has for sale, 750 a wheel to my doorstep, and heaps of diffrent sizes, i worked that out as the price roughly for brand new watanabe 14 x 8.5 -13. Dunno, when i want some expensive what's ill look alot more into pricing, also if you look back in the first lot of photos you will see some 15x6 superlights with semi slicks, i woulda kept them but not enough dish for me :P Cheers though. And today i just did a little more rust prep, and the cut up beige ke70 is ready tog o in the bin :bash: That will make my father very pleased. Cheers. Travis.
  13. Nah i can buy premade up coolant in a bottle, off the shelf, like its already made up :bash: So i guess i can't help you with your coolant issue, what does the packet/container say to use? Travis.
  14. Yea definately, when i said close i meant family members i live with/ see frequently. Exactly, people can be unpredictable, even if its an actual accident, its such a confined space anything can happen, its like entering a confined space for work, the actual confined space makes it dangerous, as well as the dangerous things inside it. And yes i have an up to date confined spaces ticket. Travis.
  15. Unlucky man, adelaide sounds like a bitch for getting defects, the cops arent too bad where i am :bash: Havent had trouble from em yet (touch wood). But my car is on stock high suspension ahahahahahhaha. Travis.
  16. Straight out of Gregory's scientific publications No221: *Note for adm ke70* Cooling capacity: 5.9 litres :bash: Why don't you just use off the shelf coolant? Travis.
  17. WHOAH!!! Really? Ill have to keep an eye out for a better deal! Are they that expensive because of the ae86 tofu version intial d spec stuff? They are hot wheels though ill save, ill get sometihng different to start with, but there ultimate!! Cheers Travis
  18. Completely agree, don't rely on anyone but yourself/ close family. I work with my dad so its easier for me, and at the same time harder because of conflicts. WGMG: is p plate race driver wannabes/mini-truckers. A p plater decided to fly out near my where my car was parked at tafe today while i was in the car, and hit the car next to mine, funny thing is the kid whos car he hit was just telling us the other week of how he bashed the guy that tried to drive off without stopping to exchange details, so he bashed the f@$k outta him for it (not that i agree with that "cough got what he deserved cough") Anywho. Id hate to be that p plater ahhah, serves him right though speeding in a tiny car park, if he hadnt of hit the car next to me he would have hit me right in the drivers side front door..... Thats 2 days in a row ive been able to call my self lucky from a close call accident wise (other one not in a car). Travis.
  19. SWWEEEEET! Thanks LittleRedSpirit And yea, well moneys money, dosent make a difference if i spend it now or spend it at the club on stuff, id prefer to do something productive with it that lasts (hopefully) longer thna one night :bash: So it costing me money to be replaced a year or so is no worry at all, considering it will go in the black car anyway once turbo one is in this one. Cheers Travis
  20. Yea ive thought of this too, but a silvertop looks tooo modern. + my 16v will sound better than any stock 20v :bash: Cheers Travis
  21. Ive found the Watanabe's I want, there not for sale, but these are the specs I want: 14x8.5 -10. They look super hot, and would suit the car perfectly, i think I'm going to be quite the wheel collector ahahah :bash: Cheers. Travis.
  22. Yea definately i will next time. I think that also applies to driving too, i was driving the other day and car didnt act like i wanted it to, so i got a bit spooked but kept driving, next corner the car still didnt act like i wanted it to and the situation was worse, i now need to repair a wheel and get a wheel alignment and a balence. Stop and have a breather if something like that happens to you (the first time, don't let the second time happen). :bash: Travis
  23. WHOAH I'm listening to that right now too!! such a good song, everytime i hear it i start to melbourne shuffle my way closer to the speakers ahahhah. Travis.
  24. Looks like it would have been a pretty good cruise. can't wait to move up north, no one around here into corollas. Travis.
