Started doing a bit on the pedal box again, ive decided I'm going to use the auto brake pdal out of the other ke70 as the clutch pedal instead of the ke70 clutch pedal BECAUSE: * Ke70 and ae71 and t18 brake pedals can be used * More brake pedals thna ke70 clutch pedals, obviously * Already Comes with hydraulic gear! ie the little pin and stuff!! just drill the hole again! and walla done! * Also there thicker steel than the clutch pedals for some reason So yes thats what I'm doing tomorow, is modifying it to fit I will post pics if it goes well :y: Cheers Travis

Alright started stripping down the 4age I need an impact wrench, can't put it on stand till i have one, so i did what i could for an hour and a half. And heres me and my 2 best mates, Gonna take the girl for a slide in the ae71 when its done, shes actually really into cars and if she isnt caught up by hsc is gonna help me with the ae71, she has already come down and helped abit and so has her sister :D And the other lad is my best mate, helping me build it and gonna be passenger/pit man in most of the events i go to :jamie: Yes we were bored at the Jetty so i whipped out the camera ahahahahaha, why am I not in any photos of my cars? My mates are like oooo when i stuff up the clutch on the first go of there car (hydraulic) and I'm like pfft have a go of my ke70, there like fine! Stalled 5 times on a slight incline, then stalled twice on a flat. i bunny hopped theres when i first drove it once... It all comes down to experiance in a way Travis

I completely agree with everything you said Felix Cars don't drive themselves, you can have as many advanced safety features as you want, but what happens when they hop into a car that dosent have the safety features? or when for some electronic or mechanical or human problem one or more of those safety systems don't work? That is when accidnets can happen. But driver training and awareness is a major factor. And most young people want to learn how to do advanced driving as they are fun courses!! My dads best mate who is almost 50 recently did an advanced driving course, he loved it and he says he learnt heaps from it and completely recconmends it I don't even think there is an advanced driving course in my area, i would have to travel to a city for one i think. I have heard rumours there is one in Port Macquarie though. Travis

Well you can use t18 struts instead of ae86 struts in ke70's so sure why not, and if not shouldnt need too much modification. Cheers. Travis.

My mum got her license but never drove until she was pregnant with me (around mid to early 20's) because she couldnt walk around very far with me in her stomach area ahaha. And she can only drive auto, she dosnet want and never has learnt to drive a manual, also she has hit a fair number of cars and gutters over the years. I believe no matter your age or sex, there is still more to learn, especially when it comes to driving, accidents do happen, some are provoked by testosterone, The main difference with age is, young people don't have a family to worry about much, young people are fairly selfish when it comes to that. Older people still take risks, some have experiance to get themselves out of a bad situation, others don't, but an older person with more driving experiance is less likely to put themselves and family into a dangerous position, they know and undrstand the largeness of the consequences and have more driving experiance so are actually able to get themselves out of the situation or put themselves in a position with minimal damage, I hope this all amkes sense to everyone. I don't know the laws, there all a jumble and hard/ impossible to find the answers so they can get you for anything, just depends the mood there in.... Travis

Go back to starters, get biggest cams you can use while still retaining vvt, or get rid of vvt and go massive cams, high compression, bigger injectors, aftermarket ecu etc etc And with lightening, it will get you a little bit faster, but wont be MASSIVE power increase Travis

Alright, Car is payed off, i bought one of those supercheap engine stands, got it home realised it was nt the exact one i wanted (its a T shaped one.....) Anyway, it will do for now. So tomorow after work, gonna pull the engine apart, and chuck it in boxes ahahaha. Is your horn also not working? If not and its a ke70 or similar its a fuse :lol: If you can't find the fuse, theres a few boxes, near battery, near kick panel where stock speakers are, and next to steering wheel, chekc them all while your at it. Travis

They do custom maniflods for 4age, just buy a flange and make it, put injectors int he end of it, weld some kind of nut or ssomething i dunno ahahhaha Ive never thought of it but it could be food for thought, ooo make a flange for 20v ITB's, Super sexy :lol: You can check for cracking with the dye and stuff, ive never done it but ive seen it done to an aircraft engines head before Travis

Not necessarily. You just need to know where to look. Keep an eye out and you will find the perfect car for you. I think ae71's are more sort after so they are more rare on these forums, but a granny is most likely not going to do a 4age conversion on the car shes had for 25 odd years. You see what i mean?
