Yea man, woudlnt have seen it without what you said, so it worked in the haha, Thanks for that :hammer: And the jdm taillights arnt exactly the same, they have a chrome strip instead of the adm black plastic strip Makes them look nicer i reckon And D1Dooney i don't get what you mean? O and Microtech with loom is going up for sale. i don't feel like fiddling with it. Cheers Travis

Not much yet, haven't had cash, as i said its a build up and i explained a whole heap of jdm things to come in one of the first posts Jdm lights and bumpers and the jdm taillights, jdm gearbox i already have, gonna get jdm rims, and interior is gonna be a plush white leather Money can start to be spent in 2 weeks yay!!! Travis EDIT: Yes but i got it free, so its sucks my free ass and it came with the loom and all that shabangle, off er i just couldnt pass up ahahahah

Yea I'm not gonna put it all in, cause i remebered id have to buy some fuel :hammer: :y: :y: Pulled out the auto pedal box just then, got manual one in, just need to drill the 3 holes, then thats done, waiting on clutch master cylinder and all that hydraulic clutch stuff to come back from being rebuilt. I'm not looking forward to paying Microtech $350 for a new basemap, has anyone had experiance with the lt10s? is there a way around it? Then the fact to get a wideband i need to pay another 600.... Seems to be a very expensive ECU. AND still havent gotten a damn reply to my email i sent them! They don't seem reliable at all, what I'm meant to send them my ecu with a bit of writing connected to it, then they do stuff to it and send it back when they can't even reply to my damn email? I don't think so... Cheers Travis

Yea i looked at mine in the black car and it shouldn't be too hard :y: Probably even easier than modifying an ae71 auto too :P All still very possible too though :y: Yea now all you need is to find a manual yoke :P Now I'm off to get some wiring sorted, you have no idea how tempting it is to hook up a the jdm ecu and bolt in the 4age stock :P i reckon i could get it in by the end of the week on stock ecu :P Would be skids galore around the industrial estate considering i have like 10 stock rims with fresh tyres on them hahaha + 6 of those performance globes and 4 stock r31 rims with no tyres though :P Tempting tempting, parents are away next week, tempting tempting :hammer: Travis

Cheers Its getting there, just wish i had it payed off so i could pour money into the engine rebuild. Only 2.5 weeks of paying it off to go, so should be around 3 weeks and its payed for  So not next week but the week after i have the entire week off, so i should be hitting the nail on the head with all the rust. hoping to get rid of most - all of it, not gonna be focusing on panels mostly the shell, might even wash all the wasp nests off the engine bay :) and dry it and push it into the workshop and seam weld it. So that will be a big week. Cheers Travis

OK people hasn't been much trouble as I've been swapping engines in the black car BUT i have fitted the gearbox today, its a jdm t50, now the car is originally an auto, so it came with stock diff and stock AUTO tail shaft but the jdm gearbox came with a manual yoke and i lined the tail shaft up next to the gearbox and when i swap yokes over it will be fine and fit prefect! so so far i have come to the conclusion that you can use an auto ae71 tail shaft, you just need a manual yoke because of the difference in number of splines, how cools that, just in case anyone needed to know also i have been looking at the auto and manual pedal boxes, and seriously if you know how to weld you could EASY make te auto pedal box a manual pedal box , so if anyone wants to do this before i do pm me and i will get you any measurements you want That's the update for now anyway, tomorrow or the next day i will sort out the microtech wiring some more, microtech wont reply to my emails about a 4age wiring diagram which sucks but i will get through it, and also i may need to spend 350 bucks to get a new basemap on it which sucks even more.... Anyway That is all for now Cheers Travis

i have thought abotu it and i have 5k+ to spend so why not? not spending it on anything else... and it will take a year to build the 4agte so i want a nice tough 16v to cruise around in in the mean time so yeah, don't worry ive thought it through  money isnt a factor, just save longer Travis

I'm building a na 4age I'm aiming for anything over 200hp at the fly 304 cams, 11:1 compression, itb's, all the good shit then once off p's its gonna be high boost 4agte So depends how much shit you want to come out of your pants when you put your foot down really  Travis

theres heaps of rwd corollas around, even in my town i see one other than one i own/live near/owned by someone close to me everyday, and there usually a different one everyday in fact i tihnk the ones that go in theis series we would produce more better condition ke's than the rust heaps you find around town and at the wreckers usually i reckon a fwd 4age series and a rwd 4k series Travis
