EXACTLY what i think! blue slip is all thats needed in nsw i think, my mate is asking his boss (mechanic) if he would give me the blueslip, i will find out tomorow, if so you will see me driving around in a granny-smith apple green ae71 with flatfront-jdm quads and chrome bumpers and madhouse lip with a jdm bigport 4age inside and jdm t-50 and green p plates on the front on my way to some gymkhana events!! :( but yea if not you will it same as that on a trailer ahahha :)

my omg took 3 hours to 3/4 pack everything up from my mates that I'm buying the giant 4age/ae71/ke70 ackage from....and we still didnt finish packing! didnt even get it on the trailer!!! so now i have to go out there on thursday and pack the other stuff then put it on the trailer to cart it down to work!! will be worth it though :) can't wait!

whenever i look into this i don't see why in nsw at least, as it says any engine that is no bigger than 15% in capacity of the largest engine fitted from factory in the car now an ae71 comes with a 4a -> 1.6 litre, thats way less thna 15% AND it uses stock mounts so i believe that IF you used STOCK everything off the engine including all manifolds and emmisions stuff (you would have to get it off jdm so that could be the problem) but still stock everything i reckon you could definately get away with just a change of engine number certificate thingo but don't hold me to it but thats what ive found Travis

well the oil pressure light was coming on because i have a major leak between the peice that is between the block and the oil filter so I'm gonna need to get a new gasket for that but i chucked some motul 15w50 in it until i get the new gasket and man does the 4k run nice! warms up quick and stays at a great temperature, reconmended, was 60 bucks at autobarn though, but owrth it i reckon :locked:

i checked the oil the other day and i got it changed a month ago (about 500kms ago) my car takes over an hour of heavy ddrving to warm up to operating temperature, and wants to conk out heaps unless its warm

ive got left ear peirced and I'm getting a sleeve from shoulder blade to just below elbow, vines style. i just need to fill out and get some cash before i get it though.....

yea id say carby or vacuum leak, maybe upgrade to twin carbies with a real good tune? that would fix both those possible causes i would say or save up and get some efi even :| but my 4k does it too, its getting hard to start cold now :D so looks like I'm gonna have to change carby as i just did and it got worse Cheers Travis
