  1. I think the ideal size would be 15" x 6.5"
  2. use the search button, end of story..
  3. If your getting serious with the power, get a gearbox bellhousing adaptor from a 4AG > W55 and use a W55 or similar gearbox, it will take the power no troubles..
  4. my car was done at home in the shed..
  5. As far as I know, they are exactly the same thing, -C just means it has a carby, whereas -E would mean its fuel injected. Anyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong though..
  6. It *will* if you treat it with respect, if you start doing 7000RPM Clutch dumps, your destined to kill it..
  7. On this note, I've seen a bonnet that was painted with a paint roller and paintbrush before, was quite a good job too, he he he..
  8. Either that or re-drill the holes, but drilling holes = weakness..
  9. Don't think its off an AE86, probably an aftermarket one made overseas..
  10. Spraycan paintjobs can be semi effective, not really how I would want to tackle a paint job. Just remember, a paint job is only as good as the preparation you put into it..
  11. 4A series engines normally run a T40 (4 Speed) or T50 (5 Speed) gearbox 3K/4K/5K series engines run a K40 (4 Speed) or K50 (5 Speed) gearbox T40/T50 compared to K40/K50 are like apples to oranges, different splines, lengths etc etc. only way you would fit a K series engine to a 4A series engine is with an adaptor that is near impossible to find and yes, you also need to run the A series gearbox x-member..
  12. Get a 3K head if you want to increase the compression, yes. Though the smallport/bigport dilemma doesn't really mean much else, all that changes is your intake velocity..
  13. 4K heads aren't large port, 3K heads are large port and swapping them onto a 4K motor should increase the compression.
  14. Didn't I get the lowest?
  15. Its coming together quite nicely now :D
  16. try http://www.ke70.com/Home.html index.html doesn't exist..
  17. fold the metal template to fit
  18. lol, go matt :D
  19. If you want it to look 1/2 decent, replace it with metal, don't bother mucking around with fibreglass..
  20. A mind is like a parachute, It works best when its open.
  21. If I was you, I'd just stick to the factory white..
  22. wonder how many goes it took him to get it right..
  23. That sounds like a reasonable price if it has been rebuilt. 4AGE extractors alone can set you back $250 so thats about $750 for a rebuilt engine in theory, sounds like it would be perfect for what you want.
  24. I went through 2 x 4 litre tins of paint on my car when we were painting it, few panels blushed and we had to respray them..
